Building off of our bestselling short, the 7" Middle Short offers more coverage in the same great silhouette we've been refining since the very beginning. It's our go-to short for crushing the majority of our mileage. Made from our ultra-light AFO stretch fabric with a built-in performance brief liner, the Middle Short wicks, breathes, and dries super quickly. Two pockets, a roomy back zip pocket and internal front drop-in, handle your essential carrying needs.

Inspired by the refraction of shapes through water, this print was designed by Cape Town-based artist Al Luke and features his organic line-work style. We see an abstract landscape of explosive shapes like a picture into another world.

Ultra-light and fast drying, AFO is a stretch woven made from recycled polyester. We use it across our Singlets, Splits, Middle Shorts, and 2-In-1 Traverse Shorts for high-performance styles that feel lighter-than-air.

Our AFO fabric is composed of 88% recycled polyester. We use high-grade recycled polyester made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic like rPET (commonly found in single-use bottles and containers) to reduce the impact of our apparel without sacrificing on performance, durability or comfort.
AFO fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.
