2.5l waterproof

360 venting

Taped seams

We strategically designed the Rainrunner for high-output performance by reducing unnecessary bulk or components and prioritizing lightweight weather protection. The unique panel venting system acts as an air-intake on the chest while the vents under the arm and across the back release heat from the core to prevent that swampy overheating of many waterproof layers. Articulated sleeves, cuffs and hood stay in place in motion without the need for additional adjustment of bungees or pulls. Three zippered pockets — including a packable left side pocket with elastic carry strap — and a new snap closure to stow the hood make the Rainrunner an essential layer to bring wherever you go in case of variable conditions.

Excellent waterproof running jacket!

I use this jacket for wet runs in the Pacific Northwest. So far, it has held up wonderfully. I am 5'6" and 120 lb. and ordered the small. I have a long torso and was concerned that it would not be long enough, but it hits at just the right spot at my upper hip. Air flows well through the jacket without making you cold. A great purchase!

Breathable!! 🙌🏼❤️

Very comfy, fits great, but most importantly it does the job very very well!!!

You Won't Overheat!

This latest Janji release has been my favorite, and I've loved every item that I've gotten from it. But by far my favorite has been this jacket. When they say it's ventilated, they mean it! I've worn it in snow and rain, in sub-20 degree weather, and warmer weather too, it's simply been awesome anywhere. It's very easily packable whilst on a run, and the integrated stretchy and soft strap for carrying it is great. I also love that you can stow the hood away with the integrated loop (the zippered ones are too bulky, so this is better). And that Canyon color, whoa, it's beautiful! It looks more orange on the website, but in person it's actually a very pretty burnt gold (is that even a color?), and not at all obnoxious or loud. The material is soft and stretchy, and not at all noisy like any other rain gear I've used in the past. Another added bonus is the hood... it stays in place! I could go on and on about how much I love this thing, but it seems everyone else already has :)

Best running rain jacket ever!

I love this jacket! I needed a new rain jacket. I figured I would mostly be using it for training (as opposed to racing), so I wanted something functional under any rainy circumstance, whether it was 35 degrees F or 60 degrees F. This definitely fits the bill! It's breathable and protective. Lightweight, but still provides plenty of protection. Great for running or hiking in any rainy/misty condition. Best money I have spent in a while!

First rainy run in it and it worked!

I've never (until now) had a rain jacket that doesn't make me sweat to the point of being saturated as if it were raining inside the jacket. Today's run - about 33 degrees and off and on rain provided a good test. I started wearing it (over my hydration vest), shed it and put into my hydration vest pocket all while moving, then once the rain got more steady popped it back on and stayed dry and a perfect temperature for the remainder. It seemed a teeny bit wet on the inside around the shoulders, but could've been sweat and I know for sure I was drier and warmer than I would've been without it. Size wise, I'm usually between a small and medium and sized up - glad I did because it provides a little room but still fits well and works fine over my vest which is nice for on and off action. Nice length and sleeves and hood are just perfect. Great design, great jacket! Well done Janji!
