Streamlined fit

The 360o panel venting wraps the body at the core (even under the armpits) to intake air and release heat where it's generated the most. This helps to regulate temp + wick moisture from the inside of the jacket to prevent that swampy feeling of many seam-sealed waterproof layers. ⬅︎⬆︎⬇︎

Love my Rainrunner!

i've been looking for a lightweight running jacket that is weather protective for a long time and this is IT. Fits as described. Great for logging lots of sloppy Pacific NW miles on road and trail. Perfect for my upcoming adventure to Africa, India, and SE Asia!!! Super versatile, stylish, and packable!

An actual breathable rain layer

I originally gave this a 4-star review on REI because of the price point, but after wearing it a few times now, I would give it a 5! I thought I would be hot, but I stayed cool (40 degrees and raining), and I was mostly dry. I did 400m repeats, I stayed cool, and this thing is breathable! How is that a thing? This is science I do not understand.

Worth it since most "rain layers" are not actually rain layers!

Love it all

This is a very nice jacket! It is my first purchase from Janji and it does not disappoint! My only wish is that the hood was detachable. I am a runner and it really sways back and forth when I run. Its not a big deal at all. Actually, the material is so nice and thin enough that I can tuck it in and you cant even tell. It does not come out when I run and doesn't feel weird. I just love it. It is so flattering also! I love the lower back split detail. I am 5'6", 126 lbs and got the small. I love how light and yet durable it is! I will do several hikes with it this summer in Colorado. Love Janji!

Best jacket from Janji yet

You may be asking yourself if you need a jacket just for running in rainy weather. With some jackets, the answer is no because they're either not waterproof or they're not breathable. But with this jacket, the answer is a definite YES.

Janji did it right here with all of the waterproof features you need (sealed seems, thoughtul cuffs and hood) while keeping it lightweight and breathable (lightweight, plenty of ventilation). Zippered pockets are a must (duh), but the clincher is the material itself. It doesn't FEEL like a raincoat. It's almost soft to the touch. Without looking and feeling like your typical water-resistant shell, this jacket has become my new raincoat as it's the perfect layer over almost anything, whether I'm going on a run or just running to work.

I'm almost sad I have this jacket because if Janji ever updates the look (more reflective details, perhaps?) I'll definitely want to upgrade and donate this one to someone who needs it.

I'm 5'4" and ordered a Women's Small. I typically wear Women's Small outerwear from Janji.

Ventilation, Galore!

It's safe to say I want it to rain more so I have more opportunities to wear this out.

The ventilation is incredible. I ran and biked in it, and it's great to have the breathability. I tend to sweat a decent amount so it was a *little* damp on the inside after excessive use, but I think that's to be expected. If you want a rain jacket that you can comfortably run and exercise in, this is a no brainer.

I got a medium (I'm 5'7") and it's a little loose, but prefer that. I usually wear a small or medium depending on how I want it to fit. Also I love the split-tail. Great style touch.
