These things are the bees knees! Why are most men's tights pocketless?!?! Not these bad boys, they’re fully loaded with storage options that TRANSFORMS cold weather running. For reference, I average 80+ miles a week, weigh 135, 5’10” and wear size small. Smalls are snug, mediums would likely work but be a little roomier. The snug fit is perfect for loading down the tights with weight and not having any bounce. I can pack a jacket, phone, keys, snacks, gloves and arm warmers with room to spare. That eliminates the need for additional storage on most of my runs. Soft material that is very warm and stretchy, no movement restriction even with the snug fit. I’ve only worn a few times but they’ll get plenty of use once the weather fully shifts. Finally, a tight that does it all! Janji has never let me down with their design features and this is no exception. Please keep the sweetness coming!!!
Every year I look for the unicorn of cold weather running wear: tights that don't have ankle zippers. You're reading that right. I don't want zippers. In 20+ years of running, I've had expensive brands and specialty brands, fuzzy zipper flappy things, etc and after a honeymoon lasting a few months, every one eventually bunches up oddly or digs into my lower legs or ankles, mostly for runs more than 12-15 miles. Thanks Janji for doing the right thing by my ankles and NOT putting in zippers! (apologies to those with unusually big feet, those that have a shoe-removal disability, or that really need the 8" of ankle ventilation that the zippers provide - you will find plenty of choices).
Besides being ankle-friendly - these have lots of useful storage without looking like some built in fanny pack has been grafted on, (or those awkward attached over-shorts), and come in a color other than black for a little variety. If they hold up, it looks to be a winning design to me.
Looking forward to wearing them out this winter!
Did I mention they don't have ankle zippers?
Awesome mens running tight & the color astral are excellent. I bought a pair last in size ‘M’ and it was slightly larger than medium. This time I bought size ‘S’ and it slightly smaller than small. Both running tights are excellent and fun to run in. Sizing is a little inconsistent, but that seems to be industry-wide regarding running apparel.
Don't know what to say, this is by far the best running tights I ever owned.
Great running tights. I wore them in 30° rainy weather and I still felt great after!
