I purchased this jacket for my step-daughter for Christmas, unfortunately, I neglected to read the size-down recommendation. I quickly ordered another in a smaller size, which she kept. I processed the super-simple return for the larger size, but then I tried the coat on...it's very cute and has such great details, that I decided to keep it for myself for dog-walks and general wear. (And my step-daughter is a doll and doesn't mind that we're twinsies.)
I'm completely obsessed with this jacket. It's very soft, and a great light layer for a slightly chilly or windy day. The front pockets don't have zippers, but I used the back pocket for important things like my phone or credit card. The print is fantastic! I was a bit worried about the men's sizing, but ordered the xs and it fits great.
I took this jacket on a recent trip to Banff National Park in Canada. We got to Lake Louise around 5am when it was windy and chilly. The Jaquaro was the perfect windbreaker to protect against the cool breeze coming from the lake and as the day got hotter, my jacket remained lightweight enough to keep on during the hike, even as the temperature climbed about 25º!
I just wore this jacket on a windy spring run and it was perfect- not too heavy, high quality material with vents and still kept me warm.
I love the way it looks -unique pattern and functional cut. Its a win-win: functional during a run, and looks cool enough to throw it on for post-run activities!
This is probably my favorite piece from Janji so far. I totally recommend it, and stand by the hype.
The square cut allows for easy movement without excess fabric in the way. I love the adjustable hemline, especially compared to other types of jackets and sweatshirts with fixed elastic hems, since those become a pain in the ass when I run. The hood is looser, and rests low on my face, so its perfect for putting over a snapback when it rains. I've layered it over just a sports bra, or a long sleeve, and it always manages to regulate my temperature to keep me comfortable.
