I thru-hiked the 800 mile Arizona Trail in these shorts—yes, I wore the same pair of shorts everyday for 35 days—and loved them! The pattern made me happy, they were breathable, the liner didn’t chafe, I could rinse them out on trail, throw them back on and hike them dry again. Super versatile! I’ve also worn the same pair on some 26+ miles runs and loved them just as much as when I was hiking.

I love these shorts but at first they were great but now the fabric rubs on my skin which is such a bummer because I bought more colors:(. I still really like how breathable they are and they’re short but don’t rise up. I will try anti chafe cream and hope it will work out!

I'm not a 'running shorts' gal, but I love these. The fabric literally feels like you are wearing nothing, super lightweight, stretch, great movement. The cut is flattering even with 50+ year old legs. Have received many complements on the fun, lively pattern. Also have the bright yellow in case I get lost on the trails! :-) Size M is perfect. 5'5 and 130-133 lbs. I wouldn't mind 1 more inch on the length, but for shorter shorts, they are awesome! (note, I wear size S in the Groundwork tights, but M in these shorts)

Love these shorts. The waist is comfortable and snug, no slipping, which sometimes I have trouble with because I have small hips. The length is great for racing and warm temps, airy and mobile without feeling like you're bare. My new go-to running shorts for long, short, treadmill, trail, every run.

I used these shorts both for running, and a day long hiking adventure in South America! They are comfortable enough to wear all day and quick drying so even when I worked up a sweat during big climbs I didn't get any chaffing or generally feel gross. The zipper pocket on the back is great for holding small sets of keys and I didn't have to worry about them falling out. My first pair of Janji shorts and I will be getting more! Highly recommend!

These shorts were awesome for the NYC marathon even though I personally was not awesome at the marathon. The shorts held up great in hot humid weather and never bothered me.
