And that bad thing is that I don't currently own more than one pair. I will be buying more - worse these during a snowy run and they absolutely didn't budge. The internal drawstring is really nice to give some extra support. I don't ever want to wear anything else. Though, in my future purchases I will likely opt for a Medium. I am 5'7, 145 and ordered the small the first go round. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fit of the Small, but I definitely have more compression than I'm used to in them.
I love my new Groundwork Tight, it's super comfortable and the perfect fit:)
Janji has really nailed the running tight, including everything you need (streamlined pockets, a place for keys, drawstring) and nothing you don't. The running tights fit great and stay situated through any length of run. Excited for the day when Janji makes a full-length version of these tights––perhaps even some tall tights for tall women. Awesome tight, awesome company, awesome mission!
First of all, if you're on the fence, BUY THEM. I run trail ultras and have tried almost every running tights brand out there over the years (lululemon, tracksmith, brooks, new balance, under armour, gym shark, patagonia, outdoor voices, girlfriend collective)...I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect fit and functionality. These tights are less expensive than many of the other brands and *stellar*! I'm usually between XS and S (5'2", 125lbs) in most brands and bought a pair of these tights in each size. The XS are truly XS - I like the added compression (so size down if you're in between and want compression), but the S is more of a "wear all day" feel for me; I'd be more likely to wear the S on runs over 15 miles since the XS is more restrictive in the waist so better for shorter amounts of time. Back pocket fits a regular size iphone in both pairs and if you synch the drawstring there is absolutely no bounce. These also pass the squat test!
Can’t complain on these. I have worn them on my Peloton and running outside in 30 something degrees and have been just fine in both climates!! I am interested in trying the back waistband pocket for my phone. Doesn’t seem tight enough for no bounce but I’ll need to test it first! Hopefully I’ll be able to give an updated review after test. But for general running these fit the bill!
