Desert night ready

This is a go-to cap for me. Keeps m'head warm. I like the ear-flap. I saw another review that said it didn't cover someone's ears. It covers mine and flips up a bit near the bottom, but not a problem. Maybe it's about ear-placement. But I recently camped in Joshua Tree and this thing kept my head and ears warm when stayin' up late lookin' at the stars. When it dipped to 45 I put my hoodie up over it--that new Aura fleece thing. And I was cozy. I also like that I can put the visor part up or leave it alone. I love the slightly goofy look of wearing it up inside or when the sun's not an issue.

Sleet buster

I wore this cap out on long run in sleety, windy sub freezing conditions and it was great! Easy to adjust, warm and kept the garbage weather off my face.

nice hat but no good at covering ears

It's a nice lightweight hat with a little insulation, but the earflaps stick out like wings and do not snugly cover my ears. I care a lot about ear coverage when running in the cold!
