Each month, Janji will award a $10,000 grant to a grassroots organization that is building community, reducing barriers to participation, or offering education and mentorship to welcome new runners into the sport.
Born to Adapt
Born to Adapt works to expand societal awareness around disabilities and fosters spaces where everyone can access the transformative power of movement, community, and the great outdoors. The organization goes beyond showing up and having a presence at races. It works directly with race directors and brands to actively invite adaptive athletes in, building spaces where all kinds of people can participate equitably.
Ozark Trail Runners
Run. Build. Advocate. That’s the ethos behind OTR’s work. They promote the sport of trail running in the Ozarks, while building trails and conserving the spaces its runners move through. More than good times or competition, the organization connects runners to the landscapes they run and inspires them to become stewards of both the sport and those spaces.
Youth Run Nola
Youth Run NOLA provides no-cost, fun, and inclusive running programs for young people ages 8–20 through school and community-based practices, races, and mentorship. For this organization, running is more than exercise: it's a pathway to confidence, resilience, connection, and joy, reminding young people with every mile that they're capable of more than they think.
Northeast Runners Alliance
Northeast Runners Alliance (NeRA) is an alliance of road and trail runners from around the Northeastern United States. Their mission is to build and connect a community centered around running that encourages engagement and collaboration, stewardship, and responsible use of shared spaces.
Women In Ultrarunning
Women In Ultrarunning is designed to help welcome more women into the sport of ultrarunning in a dynamic and inclusive way. They aim to create gender equity and help the ultrarunning community become a space where all women feel safe, welcomed, and supported.
Friendship Miles
Friendship Miles is more than a movement. It's a call to action where runners of all levels, abilities, ethnicities, unique needs, sexual orientations, and backgrounds can gather to make a friend. Their mission is to foster connections, to celebrate unity, and to create an inclusive haven where everyone finds their unique stride amongst others.
Native Women Run
Native Women Run (NWR) provides community-centered programming that increases access, visibility, and belonging for Native women in running spaces. Through fostering sisterhood and community, NWR strengthens the voices and visibility of Native women runners everywhere.
Runners for Public Lands
Runners for Public Lands envisions a world where everyone has access to healthy, runnable landscapes. They empower runners to protect public lands and expand access to nature for all through community stewardship events, education, and civic engagement.
Tierra Libre Run
Tierra Libre Run is building the infrastructure for lasting BIPOC representation in trail and ultra-distance running. Since launching at TrailCon in 2025, they are the most comprehensive, independent, and BIPOC-led effort to shift the state of representation in trail running.
