M's Rainrunner Pack Jacket

23 miles for my first run with this jacket. Mid 60s and raining for the entire run. During the first five miles in lighter rain I avoided overheating by dropping the hood and zipper down. Great breathability and warmth when needed. Excellent water protection and one level heavier than the Patagonia Houdini. Exactly what I wanted for a lightweight run rain jacket.

I'm 6'5" (195cm) and an XL fits very well. I've taken it across the world and it's seen me running, hiking and even standing under a waterfall!

It's light enough to roll up and carry in a hydration vest or backpack, and the horizontal slats do a really good job of venting humidity away from the body.

The only thing I wish it had was a chest clip to stop it flying open if I half undo the zip for added airflow.

Fit is spot on for sizing, materials and engineering look great! Excited for some rain to really test this out. Until then, will be morning run jacket.

Excellent light weight coat breaths very well

The only wetness I get in this jacket is from my own sweat on the inside. It completely stops the wind and the rain. It is absolutely worth the cost.

Love my new como rainrunner jacket it looks so nice. Got to try it out in the elements held up great to light rain and wind. Super comfortable and breathable.

Really great, breathable jacket. No complaints about it. Ran 10 miles with it in moderate conditions and did not overheat or anything.

I wore this on my Appalachian Trail thru-Hike in 2023 and again in 2025 until I accidentally left it in a hotel closet after a zero. I just bought a second one and its going on my PCT thru-hike in 2026. Amazing jacket for wind and rain. Extremely lightweight.

I was looking for a rain jacket for my runner obsessed husband. Found this on a reviewer based article as the top rated. My husband said 10/10 recommend. Works great in the rain to keep him dry and helps protect against the wind.

The fabric on this jacket is amazing. It keeps me warm in the cold wind.

Breathability is great. Have only worn in light rain so far but repels water nicely.

Performed really well in the rain, but after washing it ONE time per the instructions on the tag, all of the glue on the inside seams got messed up and the seams started bunching up and sticking to each other, effectively ruining the jacket. $200 down the drain. Save your money and buy something that actually holds up past the first run.

I love the camo fabric design and functionality (top and bottoms), but the waistband on the bottoms is a real challenge. For me, you had it right with the first (surround) iteration (shorts). This waistband is too tight and narrow; the "storage" is only useful for keys or bars. It feels like a girdle. Also wonder why the zippers on the bottoms are so long; we're not wearing these over downhill ski boots!

***IDEA*** Since you iterate models constantly, you should version them like software: that would greatly facilitate community sharing because you drastically change features, and "model names" can mean different things, which creates a challenge for fit.

fits perfectly, allows for movement, nice venting, nice water resistance for the pacific northwest. definitely worth the premium price. would definitely buy again.

What better way to test a piece of gear then wear it all day running a 50K! Spent the day in 30-40 degree temps, and this jacket shielded me from the cold, was breathable, and held up. I love it!

Great rain jacket just run small.
