W's Aurora Fleece Tight

these keep me so warm!

I wore these for cold long runs (November through March in Maine) and they were excellent even in 10 degree weather with a wind chill. I did lose the drawstring in the wash a few times, but I was able to thread it back through. They do fall down without the drawstring, so it is mandatory.

My complaint is that they suffer the same issue that most leggings eventually cause me: the thigh area gets worn out from running. These came to have thigh holes faster than my other pairs of leggings (4 months compared to about a year for my mumumelons, unfortunately— which makes me sad, because they aren’t as sustainable of a company.) likely a tradeoff of the thermal material; i do wonder if they didn’t have thermal material in the crotch, the leggings would last longer. As it’s « normal wear and tear » for a person with thighs that tough, I doubt it will fall under their 5 year guarantee. So, they lasted one season, and kept super warm, but I’ll need to try a new brand next year and see if they last longer.

I love Janji and have had great experiences with their other products! Sadly I was quite disappointed with these tights. Contrary to what many reviews say, they are not warm. My legs were cold wearing these in 30 degrees F. Warmer than 35 and I usually wear shorts, so I'm not totally wimpy when it comes to cold. Pockets are fun though there are no small ones (that I could find) for keys!

The pocket zips come up a bit high in the hip crease for comfort. But my main problem is that the reflective seam once twisted to chafe severely on my Achilles. A good fit and warm.

I love these tights and have two pairs, but the one thing it is missing is the side pocket that the men’s version has. I do not like having to deal with a zipper while moving. It’s just inconvenient and frustrating. Other than that these keep me warm and moving in the coolest temps. I usually double my bottoms at 10 or below

Keeping me warm in Maine this cold winter season

I run cold so my expectations may have been too high. I find these suitable for 35-40 degree days but any colder I find that I am cold until at least 35-40 minutes in. Fit is the same as others I have from janji. I am at the upper range of the size small but the medium are too big. These are snug but not constricting

These are the warmest and sturdiest tights I've ever owned. I really love the soft fleece interior, and as a standalone pant I've been wearing them for winter runs. I've layered them under Nordic ski pants several times for 6-15 mile Nordic classic and skate skis. The only glitch is the waist string yanked out the first time I washed them, and I like the waist string- it was helpful. I could have ordered an XS, but like the extra space for added comfort.

Yeahhhh! 7 degrees the other day. Went out for 17miles. Used these fleece leggings, and Janji’s Thurmalrunner jacket with a non Janji breathable base layer. Ultimate combo for icy cold weather. The only thing cold about my run was my occasional fingers even with gloves, and needed a beanie over my merino headband since winds were whipping too sharp. Long story short, these leggings were incredible!

Love them, very warm and dont loose shape. No chafing or sagging.

Got me through an 18 miler in 9°F (real feel w/wind of 0°F). The zippered pockets are stellar, they’re the only pair I own that fit my phone in its bulky case, with plenty of room for extra gloves, gels, hand warmers, etc- and with no bounce! They’re the best cold weather pants I’ve tried, well-made, and great at keeping out the cold along the seams too. They regulate temp very well, comfortable whether it’s 8 or 35°F. Super versatile, couldn’t get through the season without them.

Perfect to wear on Wintry Walks or Runs.

Ladies. Do yourself a favor and pop these in your cart. 10/10 recommend. These stay put, keep ya warm, and cut the windchill. Not bad at water crossings, retain their warmth. Big fan!

The fabric is so soft and warm and easy to move in. These are my favorite cold weather pants to run in. The pocket is a great size to fit my phone and the zipper is smooth.

These are fleece lined. Do they look a little stumpier than my non lined tights? Perhaps. But they are warm and lie smoothly when I’m wearing them.
