Revo Merino Balaclava

Balaclava exceeded my expectations. Warm, light and easy to breathe during long runs.

I've tried several options for protecting my face from the cold when running, but nothing has come close to this. Most options make it hard to breathe or absorb moisture and freeze solid. The vent on this makes it easy to breathe and keeps it from trapping the moisture from my breath. It is also very comfortable and the material is great.

Revo Merino Balaclava

First time trying this on what is soon to be coldest winter in NYC. It was 19 degrees outside and I tried using this in place of my winter running beanie. This barely covered by ears and most of my forehead because of my hair. If you have big hair - afros, tons of curls, long bushy ponytail, or a just big head - you will have to prep your hair and sleek it down before putting it on. The parts it was able to cover, my neck and nose (there a little holes for the nose <3), was very warm but my ears suffered.

Passed with flying colors

Good for wicking sweat. Good for very cold weather despite being so thin. Good on head circumference even for my small head. But as the run progressed the part that covers my face wouldn’t stay up and eventually I just had to deal with the 20 degree cold on my face. I’ll use a needle and thread to tack it tighter around my face.

The quality of the fabric is nice, and I like the overall design. However, the neck gaiter portion is just way too big around (probably at least 1.5 inches too big) to really stay up on me. I kind of have to put the back of the neck gaiter up over the back of my head to hold it up. I don't understand why they don't make a smaller size as an option.

I was looking last year for a running oriented Balaclava and couldn't find one! I was happy to see one offered and have been very happy with the purchase.

This product is excellent, I wore it in 20 degrees just recently as I live in the north east , and was very warm despite the cold and windy conditions. I would recommend this product to all my friends and anyone who needs a reliable head and face shield from the cold. I used it to run the frosty race this past weekend and it was comfortable and lightweight.

Wear in chicago winter, working out nicely. Wear as a balaclava and as a gaiter/hat combo

I have a pretty small head and it fits perfectly, the face cover wouldn't fall off either.
