The overall design is good. The problem is the leg hole - there is no hem so the snugness of the tight actually cuts into your leg. Very comfortable everywhere else so definitely the right size, if not a little roomy. If they added a hem to the leg to disperse the pressure over a wider area, it probably wouldn’t be so cutting/painful.

Also, BUYER BEWARE, they charge you a $5 “restocking fee” for returns. So don’t buy their product unless you already know you like it.

They have replaced my hiking shorts and even wore them wading in waist deep water while fly fishing. Quick to dry and the super functional pockets just make them great all around.

Good storage. Comfortable fit with right amount of compression. Fire colorway that works PERFECTLY with Asics' Tokyo release colorway (Metaspeeds, Megablast). My favorite half tights by a good margin. Only thing I'd change is either add a hem or even better silicone anti-slip tape to the bottoms of the legs.

What a ride! These have shorts have been a steady rotation on my runs. Ditched all my loose wearing shorts. I own three pairs and order the new 6 inch short, that I can't wait to try. They are absolutely everything you would want on a run, long run or trail run. Perfect fit and compression, like wearing skin. I have packed mines with gels, nutrition bars, water flasks and iPhone and everything stays put, zero movement. The drawcord works perfectly, I've tied mines once and no slack or discomfort. I do wear seamless underwear by runderwear, Absolutely the best...zero chaffing. I have not used them commando so I'm not sure if they cause any chaffing. Will brave it out someday! Get this, you'll love them. Zero commission for me. 🤙🏼

Excellent fit, and comfy! Pockets feel very secure and the drawstring feels great. I'm 6 ft 1, 155 lbs and opted for the medium. Fit is nice and snug.

What ride.

I have used these in both the Tahoe 200 and Southern States 200 trail runs. Great for all day comfort and the side pocket holds my Google Pixel 7 phone with no discomfort. I love that the waist string is on the outside to minimize skin iteration. I have also used them for multiple 100 milers and have replaced my traditional running shorts. I'm 6ft, 152lbs, 30in waist and the medium fit perfect.

Extremely comfortable and great secure storage

As an ultra marathon runner I like to have lots of miles on any equipment before I right a review. After over a 100 miles on these Janji Trail Tights I have to say they are my favorite trail short ever. The fit is perfect for me. For reference I'm 6 feet and 170 lbs and the large fits great. The compression is also perfect--not too tight and not too loose. The pockets hold lots of supplies and they don't slide around even in the summer when the shorts are soaking wet. I don't have to wear a race belt with these shorts because the pockets can hold all my gear. The shorts have held up well through many washings with no rips or tears. Do I like these shorts? I bought 3 pairs!

Best trail short-tights in my early purchases of such a product. The material is relatively light, and seem to mimic the longer standard full-length version. Any chafing issues that have occurred have been strictly due to wearing brief underwear, boxer briefs no problem. The sizing seems “normal,” on my slightly shorter stalkier legs.
Pockets are great for holding keys, fig bars / gels, even a 350ml - 500ml water flask, with no bounce. I mention the flask, as 350ml doesn’t take you far on a trail in the hot summer, but should be considered for road runners not wanting a belt or vest on shorter runs.

It's summer. High heat and high humidity. I am absolutely drenching these tights in disgusting sweat, and you know what? They remain comfortable the whole time and my phone leaves the side pocket dry every single time. I love these things.

New favorite trail bottom! My buddy runs in them and loves them so I got a pair as well to see what I thought. Just ordered a second pair. They hold two 500ml water bottles, my phone, and snacks. Plus they just feel nice and high quality.
