M's 6" Trail Half Tight

The pockets securely fit my 250ml Salomon flasks, and they do so much better than my belt. Great for when I don't want to carry or use my vest. The material quality seems high, although I've only ran in them about 6-7 times so far. (washed each time). This runs small. I wear the same size in everything like this, but the waste seems a tad tight, and does leave marks on me after my longer 1.5-3 hour runs, and it's certainly noticeable on climbs when I am bending forward and it cuts into my abdomen. However, running on flat terrian, it's not really an issue and these feel fine. Overall, happy with these.

Perfect for longer runs. Plenty of pockets for storage.

I use both, the 6” and 8”. Plan to use them for my next marathon because they are very comfortable and allow to store all the gels I will need plus the phone.

This is great because it's hot AF in the summer and the 8inch versions are too long; the grip bubbles at the base of the thigh opening are great, and the pockets are still deep enough that Ultra/XL/Pro phones can fit.

There are two slightly annoying parts to these shorts though: 1. I've got thunder thighs from squatting and having a bit too much mass (lmao) so the thigh seams get squished/fold over a bit {which is mostly a me issue but still}, but 2. The drawstring gets pulled out when I wash the shorts and it's a whole endeavor to restring the shorts; I need either the blue string end to be beefed up or a way to restring it more easily.

These tights fit and function great in that they cover up your unmentionables and they have pockets. How they cost so much, I do not understand.

Good quality shorts. I like the fit and the ability to carry everything I need in the pockets.

It holds up really well with a 500ml water bottle in it.

Love this great half tights. The pocketing is excellent and able to store gels, keys, phone etc. While I bought the 6” linerless, I hope in the future Janji provides a lined version. Also, as short king, I’d love to see Janji provide a quarter-tight option with liner at some point.

The shorter length of the trail tight is a great update… same durability and comfort that has made this a great product for years, especially for long runs.
One note is the bleed of colors… the black half-tights I’ve had from Janji have always been fine, but my new blue pair of half-tights is the second pair of colored apparel from Janji that bleeds its dye, and somehow at the end of the run, my socks have blue all over them. Yes, I’m sweating it out in the Texas heat, but this is an odd outcome for an expensive and otherwise high-quality piece of gear.

I like these way better than the 8” ones, especially in the hottest and humid East Coast summer runs. They seemed lighter but just as supportive as the 8”. I worried they’d ride or chafe, but I was able to wear them for the first 40 miles of my 100-miler last weekend, before swapping them out for some dry AFO 5” shorts. Sea Change looks great, make more of these creative styles!!

...it's worth the price. I bought a pair of tights in the spring for summer trail running and was immediately impressed with the quality of the material and the hamstring support. When the re-stocked, I bought two more.

I love my Janji Run-All-Day t-shirts, 2-in-1 Multishorts, and 8” Trail Half Tights. I can now add the 6” Trail Half Tights to the list. My only complaint is they show my 8” tan lines, but they're supportive, wick sweat well and dry fast.

I really like the 6-inch length (make more of these, please). They feel faster than the 8". Perfect for Summer and race day.

Very comfortable and durable. The length is perfect especially for those who are on the shorter side. Highly recommend these if you are caught between buying these and another brand.

For a short person like me @ 5”2 these are a great fit.

Finally, finally got a pair of the 6inch Midnight color Trail Half Tights. Size Medium. Had to wait all summer to get back into stock. Well worth the wait. Was happy to see how many storage pockets they actually have. Great fit. Is more fitted than other half tights I own. More compression. That’s good. Size up is what I would suggest. Excellent performance. I liked the extra touches with the clip on pads. These are underneath the garment to control the ride up that some tights have problems with.
