I hate to leave a negative review. And with clothing I usually don't since fit/style are so subjective. But the pictures of the model wearing the Slate color are not a good representation of its true color. The photos gave me the impression that Slate was a light grey. But the shirt I received is noticeably darker.

Outside of the color, the quality/feel of the material is very nice and I appreciate the thumbholes. Janji tends to run smaller than other brands so I got a medium instead of my usual small. But I have wide shoulders which causes it to still feel a little tight across my chest and lats if I move my arms around.

Fit was good, it was slightly loose which is what I wanted. Going out in 50-65 degree weather it did well.

Great fit & Tremendous quality

I bought this for sun protection for a couple of recent hikes because I know these tops are nice and thin so not too hot in the sun. It was great for thin sun protection that wasn't too hot, but it was already pilling a lot on the back after just the first day of hiking with small pack. I wish the neck came up just a tad higher in the back but otherwise great.

Great base layer or stand alone layer for cooler weather (<65F). Wicks sweat very well and dries fast.

Modern color ways the clothing itself never fails. I love these shirts - bought one and then added three more. Good fit for my older dad bod. Thumb holes are good positioned. Holds up well. Honestly I wear these out at times running errands. Don’t buy too many so I can restock.

Nice product but the size chart on the website is useless. Nowhere near the right size (which is annoying bc this item is non-refundable).

Great shirt, shrinks a bit in the dryer so size up if you want dont want to hang dry or are in between sizes

This shirt is great as a base- or mid-layer. The fabric is soft and non-abrasive (doesn’t cause chafing like other wool blend running tops), has thumb holes, and feels really good running. The only knock is that it shrank in the wash but this is definitely not a dealbreaker. Would highly recommend this shirt regardless.

Janji seems to have updated the fit slightly, my last pair of these shirts runs a bit tighter in the chest. Material is top notch and my old pair are still going strong since 2020.

Already used the top a few times on my long runs. It's fantastic quality and extremely comfortable/breathable. Highly recommend!

Thinner than other merino tops I own, but great for less chilly weather. Would layer well also.

Lightweight but warm

Got this before a trip to Japan and it was a workhorse for the entire trip. It was great as a bottom layer in low temps, super comfortable, dried quickly, and never developed an odor, even after 3+ wears walking all over the place. Will be buying more in the future for sure.

As I will be running 'Grand Slam' Ultra Endurance run this year (AZ Monster 300, Tahoe 200, Bigfoot 200 and Moab 240), I wanted to try Janji. Been a fan of it so far. I would recommend to anyone. I have been spreading word to my Ultra community / Marathon community friends and would like to spread words in Nepal.

I really enjoy the merino wool shirts. They feel great, work better than expected without smelling bad. I use it as my base layer when running in the cold. I can't believe how light they are and how well they perform. During the winter months I like to wear one daily as my undershirt.

I was thinking that I was getting more of a hood less fleece but kept it once I received a very thin long sleeve top. It has been pretty cold and this is a GREAT base layer.

Soft merino wool. Perfect wicking for multiple outdoor winter activities, especially running

Usually wear medium but went with a large so it’s not clinging. Works great, ran a 10 miler, sweat into this thing and used it next day with barely any smell to it.

Perfect fit ! Warm enough for cooler runs by itself but does not overheat !
