Absolutely the softest and love the hoodie ,the neck is perfect for keeping draft out.

The hoddie is great for running in colder temps without an extra jacket on top of (I run pretty cold usually). I actually have used the hood a few times with just a buff instead of a hat although it does look a little silly. I will say that the color is off from the photo (mane is more light brown) so that was disappointing and the threads were bunched or disturbed in a few spots when I first put it on. I hope the threads hold up over time because it’s a really nice layer and I could see myself using it skiing and riding but the quality of the stitching is still up in the air until further use. Because of the color being more brown it’s a little less flattering on me so I probably won’t wear it for casual wear as well and the shoulders are large even though I have fairly broad shoulders for a lady at 5’11”

I find myself grabbing this for a lot of my activities (running, biking, uphill skiing) when the weather is changing and I can’t quite figure out how I want to layer. Fit is true to size for me and I felt like it was a good length for me; I’m 5’7”, 155lb. I might add another one to my gear ahead of an upcoming trip cause I also like that it stays pretty fresh and doesn’t get as much odor/smell as others.

Soft, super comfy, keeps you warm while running without sweating too much. Love that the sleeves are long and you get to tuck in your hands. Would get more if not sold out.

I have only been able to wear the hoodie in 30-40 degree weather, where it is a very warm for runs. I bought it for colder temps, so hoping it will be warm enough with layers to run in once the temperature drops. I bought it when we had a cold snap, but delivery took longer than expected so it didn't arrive until the weather shifted. It fits well, the hood is helpful with wind, and it is certainly warm.

Was looking for some new top layers for cold runs and ordered the rover hoodie and wish I had gotten 2!! Good on its own or over 100% wool on subfreezing windy days. The hood is awesome and the neck covers the chin without going over the mouth and getting all wet ans gross!

I sized up to layer its been cold this winter!

Great for trail running and hiking in wind and cooler temps in Colorado. The only thing I'd change is the center back vertical seam. I can feel the seam on my back until I put a hydration vest on (the vest keeps it from moving). I have to wear a shirt under the hoodie if I'm not running, to prevent the seam from irritating my skin. The hood is well-designed and comfortable.

Cozy on cool days without overheating…but the best aspect is the hood. Makes it easy to skip the hat and keeps my ears warm…and I LOVE that my ponytail isn’t bothering the back of my neck! That is honestly a game changer

I wanted so much to love this, and I don't. I read the reviews and thought this would be perfect. Sadly, it's not. It arrived in time for my 5K, as I stood waiting for the race to start I was pretty shocked at how chilly I was. It's a snugger fit than I had hoped, so I can't wear anything under it and because it has a hood it's difficult to wear as a base layer. Lastly, it is so NOT soft and comfy, it's scratchy.

This hoodie is so comfy and cozy is just perfect for a cold trail run. I wore it on a 30° F trail run and it was perfect!

This hoody on its own kept me comfortable and warm through a very wet run in moderate temps, and with a wind shell added on top when the winds picked up. The fabric is soft and light and stretchy in all the right ways, and it is just the right length to keep my full torso covered. The thumbholes were great so that I could pull it down over my hands and keep them warm. The only thing I would add to improve it would be a slit so I could more easily check my watch.

Love this so much I got it in two colors. It’s my fall and winter running top. Stretch and warm / perfect for layering. Wish it didn’t pill as much and could use a watch hole. Also I find Janji tops run small.

Wore this for an early spring run through the woods along a river. This shirt kept me both warm in the cold, dark, damp sections of the trail and was still breathable enough for me to not overheat during the sunny exposed ridge sections of trail.

I liked it first wear but after one wash the inside is itchy and peeling and the outside is rough in spots, doesn’t hold up to a hydration vest over it.

The wool hoodie fits nice and is perfect for cold runs. It pairs well with the thermal jacket when temps get frigid!

I had heard great things about merino wool for winter running so when this was on sale I had to give it a go, and I am now a true believer. I’ve been comfortable in the 40-20 range with a very thin mesh shirt on underneath, and I’ve been able to wear it 3x in a week with the same setup and no stink. The thermoregulation is a game changer, seriously. No more wet (and therefore chilling) tops making my runs uncomfortable! The hood design is also flawless: tight enough and with sufficient coverage to serve as both ear and neck warmer. Well done, Janji.

Love this hoodie for winter running and hiking! It’s comfy and warm, but it’s super lightweight. It also dries quickly, which helps with warmth. Definitely recommend!
