Excellent layer for all winter sports

I originally bought this for outdoor running in the winter. The merino makes it a much better warmth-to-weight than comparable shirts, so with it I find I can wear fewer/lighter layers than I was before. The real surprise I found is that I can wear it as a base layer for skiing. Again, it is super warm so on a 30 degree day on the mountain I just need a shell, and even on a pretty cold day on the mountain I just need my regular ski jacket. 10/10 would recommend for more than running.

The Best Cold Weather Middle Layer for Running…Period!

Been running daily many years. Keep up to date with equipment and gear. Live in MA, so staying warm in cold and frigid conditions in Winter while allowing the body to breath is critical. This product works exceptionally well as a primary or middle layer with a wind or rain shell. I also reach for this hoodie while lounging or relaxing in a cool house. The super soft outer material works so well with the warm wool blend lining. It also works well for a walk through the mall. Sizing is accurate. Highly recommend.
