M's 5" AFO Middle Short

I had been consistently running in another (more expensive) brand for years. Tried these after seeing reviews and getting a pair on sale. After a few runs I can say that the other brand is now seeing more time in the closet and my AFO shorts are getting run time as much as they can. So comfortable and great fitting. Breathable and light. Love the pocket arrangement and the back pocket is large enough to fit my phone without flopping around. Will be phasing out the old brand as new styles of the AFO are released.

Very comfortable. Almost too light if that’s possible. But very nice in the hot humid air in South Alabama

Quick dry and feather weight. Trail runs and they do not stain from Spartan races :)

I dress drably day-to-day, and it's amuses my wife and me, while embarrasses my brother to really peacock when I run. This is my 3rd pair of Janji pants (I have some compression shorts and some with a really high slit on the side) and these are good middle-of-the-road pants. They seem very well made. A tad pricey, but I am still giving them top marks.

I was very hesitant about going with a 5" inseam since all of my shorts are 7" and they seem short to me, but I decided to give them a try. I'm still getting accustomed to the shorter length, but they are very comfortable. The shorts are light and airy which makes you feel like you're not wearing anything at all. No complaints so far.

These shorts feel great and dry quickly. They have a comfortable liner, a good waistband, and have great, light material for the legs. The back zipper also seems more stable and secure than earlier iterations, which has been my only complaint in the past.

These can be used to play sports as well, minus tennis. Very solid and comfortable shorts. Would be nice to have a 1" shorter version for soccer, but this size still works.

I own many pairs of these shorts and I always reach for them first. The liner fits me well and they are so light—it makes workouts a little more bearable. The waistband seems to have changed a bit over time, but the design is sound and adds to the overall comfort of the garment. And, I love the designs!

Wasn't sure I'd like the pattern (wind flower mountain) but honestly it works pretty well with a lot of other colors. The fit is perfect (5'7" Male 160 lbs athletic build size M) and there's no resistance in any direction and the pockets are well thought out. Extremely comfortable and super lightweight.

Love these shorts. Great for running and yoga.
