Sustainability

Our new Atlas fabric has a PFC-free C0 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. The PFC-free C0 DWR is made without short-chain PFCs, or perfluorinated chemistry also known as PFAS, which are part of a family of forever chemicals that have been used to create DWR finishes for decades, but can wash off of garments and remain in our watersheds for hundreds of years. Janji has transitioned completely to using PFC-free C0 water repellency as part of our sustainable initiatives while still prioritizing long-lasting protection without releasing harmful substances into the environment — we are proud to be 100% PFAS free across our apparel and accessories production as of January 2023.

Our Atlas fabric is bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

Super comfortable and functional

Lightweight but somehow substantial enough to feel good in a cold wind, and super stretchy. These don't ride up, dig into the waist, or otherwise cause me any trouble on long runs. Love that my phone fits in the back waist "runner's belt" pocket and feels very secure.

Comfortable and highly visible!

I’ve worn these both as work pants (I have an active job) and as running pants. So far they’re great in both roles! They’re not overly warm, so perhaps buying a bit larger to layer over something else might be good in real winter climates. My only complaint, if it should even be called that, is that it is a bit high waisted. Normally mid-rise sits just below the belly button, but these are well above the belly button. I do wonder how long the reflective details will last, even with gentle washing and drying. Overall, I’m really pleased with this purchase.

These pants are a grail fit

These pants are a grail fit. So comfortable too. They double as my go-to for dog walking for the added visibility print. I ended up buying a second pair in plain black so l always have a pair clean.

Great pants but poor manufacturing quality

I love these pants - the fit and pockets are excellent. However, the manufacturing quality is poor. I had the seam separate for an 8-inch stretch near the zipper identically in two pairs of pants, one of which I have had for one year and the other of which I have had for two years. I'm disappointed, given how much I love these pants!

I’ve been intrigued by this bottoms for a while and finally made the purchase and I’m so happy I did. Light weight, the zip goes up way higher than I thought so easy to put on and take off with shoes on. Yeah, happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Great concept, genius Janji, consider sizing up

Transitioning into shorter days does not mean shorter runs, it just necessitates more training time on roads/in the dark. These pants seemed like a comfortable option that offered some extra safety. Unfortunately, I find the small, while normally my go-to size, too small in the wrong places. This is definitely worth considering when purchasing, since you’ll probably want to wear these all season.

Disappointed

Hi. I bought these pants because I LOVE my Janji 5" running shorts...the likes of which I can't find today. I think you have stopped making them. 5" shorts that aren't compression are just about impossible to find. So I bought these bright pants on a pro-Janji whim. I don't like them. The fit is both too right and too loose at the same time. I'm not a fan of the material either, as it feels synthetic (it is but actually feels it) and not breathable. The color is wonderful, the pocket placement helpful, but the fit is super unflattering.

Great storage, love the ankle zips and it’s light and comfortable. The pattern is a bit strange, but I love wearing them!

These pants are awesome - incredibly light and comfortable. I’ll choose these over running tights almost everyday.

Comfortable pants, but they snag easily

Comfortable pants, but they snag easily. They are super stretchy and somewhat water resistant (I still did get damp in the rain). The material just doesn't seem super sturdy and will get really snagged if you brush against branches/logs. I find the mercury knit and transit tech way sturdier.

Excellent for challenging hikes, difficult water crossing and MORE

I bought a pair of these pants on sale last year. I wore them a couple of times to run in Boston in cold weather and in rain. They were great for that. Then this happened: A couple of weeks ago. I went on an 11 mile hike in the White mountains of New Hampshire, which required traversing five different water crossings, one of which was so deep and fast moving that it was impossible to cross by rock hopping. On the way up, I had to shimmy along a fallen tree to cross. the tree had broken branches and all kinds of sharp stuff sticking out of it. Even though I snagged myself on all of that several times, the pants did not rip! On the way back down I ended up just walking through that particular water crossing. The knee length zippers on these pants were a game changer because I was able to unzip to my knees and pull the pant leg way up. Even though the pants got a little bit wet, they were dried within less than 15 minutes. Yes, I bought a second pair in a different color. Like all janji products, these are great.

Love these pants!

This is my second pair and I wear them everywhere. Super comfy and love the stretch. I wasn’t too about the tapered leg, but now I don’t even notice. They were my favorite pants this spring during all of the weather changes in Ohio. The only thing I would add is a way to roll up the pant legs if you needed too. I wouldn’t change or add anything else.

Love the black one

I loved the fit and comfort of my first pair of Atlas pants so much that I ordered a second pair in orange. My only complaint about the orange ones is that you can really see my underwear through them.

Love these so much, got a 2nd pair!

I love these pants for hiking, running and traveling. Have used them in 60 degree weather and didn't overheat, used them in 30 degree weather and didn't get cold. Love these when it rains because I just unzip them to my knees and pull them over my shoes. The pockets hold so much! And I love that the pockets zip. The back pocket carried my heavy Samsung S25 Ultra. These are versatile and incredible!
