Exactly what I as looking for. These have become my goto for winter running and hiking. The fleece glove is a pretty standard mid weight fleece glove. The shell does a great job at blocking wind and makes these effective insulation down into the high teens/low 20s. Unlike other shell mitts these have an open palm which greatly increase ventilation preventing sweating and overheating during high output activities. It’s a simple design that offers a huge improvement over other items in the same the market. It’s like having pit zips on your gloves, mechanical venting will always be superior to relying on the breath ability of mostly non breathable fabrics. My only complaint is that the fleece glove should have a grippy materiel on the palm, the gloves are pretty slippery when trying to hold a phone, ski poles, or things you might not want to drop in the snow.
