Hitchhikers dream

I JUST received these today and took them out right away. They were great on the short walk with the dogs that I took in ~29F weather and I love the color... However... I am posting this now to show the cut of the outer shell. The thumb is massive, way larger than it needs to be. It is sewn in an appropriate place and goes far enough down that it doesn't seem like it will be an issue, but it does look a quite odd and is very loose/floppy when trying to use your thumb. I just wanted to point this out right away. I will update this review once I get some more time/use with them.

Best winter hand wear. Period.

I have never had a pair of gloves/mits that I love so much. They are perfect in virtually all weather conditions. I have worn them in well-below zero weather, snow, sleet, and rain, hiking and running New England and in Canada. These never disappoint. Do not hesitate ordering these, because they are so popular and so good they go out of stock frequently. I keep a bit of a stockpile so I can give them away as gifts. Buy now. Do not hesitate.

outer shell too tight

I ordered the forest camouflage pattern and its very fun. love the reflective striping. the glove inside fit well- size small- however the outer shell is too tight so I can't see wearing them too often. I had too much going on to find time to return or exchange them :^(

Warm, but some flaws

These do what you’d expect on the surface, but after a bit of use I find myself wanting more. The wind-cover is a tad narrow, which means you can’t flex your fingers much. This surprised me a bit, as otherwise the fit is quite good. I also wish it were easier to tuck them into themselves when not in use.

The other feature I’d expect is a watch window.

Great for COLD weather running, could use a snot mop

Bought these last fall for the winter season, and have had them out in temps ranging 8F-25F plus wind. My hands seem to run warm, so having a shell to peel off and regulate temperature is great. For me, the gloves could actually be a little thinner - even on the coldest runs, I end up with warm, borderline sweaty hands.

My only suggestion would be to include a terrycloth/microfiber pad on them to help keep runny wintertime noses in check. Back when I was really into mountain biking, that was called a snot mopper, and it was GREAT to have!

Great Combo!

These were perfect glovers for moderate temps to the cold we have recently experienced! The mitten cover works great to block the wind completely! Highly recommend! Found you guys on Distance to Empty Podcast and very grateful to Peter and Kevin. Good guys!

My Go-To Gloves for Winter Running, Skiing, and Everyday Use

I’ve been really happy with these gloves for winter running, Nordic skiing, cold steering wheels, dog walks—pretty much everything! They’re warm, versatile, and functional without feeling bulky. My only complaint is that they run a bit large. I sized according to the chart, but they fit slightly bigger than expected.

So versatile, so warm

My hands get cold very easily, I think I have circulation issues, so a good glove is very important. So far I've worn these in 18F - 40F with no hand warmers and they've aced every test. I love a convertible mitt for the dexterity and versatility. These are awesome, the glove portion is fairly thick, and the outer cover is amazing at blocking the wind. The outer covering your thumb is unique, and much appreciated. The real selling point for me was the packability of the outer into the cuff. Modern problems require modern solutions, and it's so nice to be able to tuck away that outer when you warm up late in a run and don't want things flopping around.

As expected

Floridian here so cold hands is a thing with being not acclimated to cold. These were absolutely everything i expected. Kept hands so warm had to remove them from time to time in 30’s degree weather in Sedona Canyons. The mitten cover was amazing, zero sweat hands and actually size was spot on. Make sure there’s a few centimeters or space on tip of fingers because otherwise glove that is snub will never be effective; you need that space to create warm circulating layer around each finger.

Great winter gloves

I used the gloves for not running yet but for hiking in snow and they were perfect. The gloves were warm. The inner fleece lining kept my hands cozy and the outer layer when used kept out winds and water away from my fingers. I like how I can simply tuck away outer layer as opposed to other gloves. Nice job Janji as always with your excellent design. I got medium size. I have relatively small hands. It fits me perfect.

Perfect for cold New England runs

Needed warm + wind blocking mittens for winter marathon training in Boston and these are perfect! I love that I’m able to pull the mitten part back if I just want gloves for slightly warmer (30°F+) runs. Hands have stayed comfortably warm in 15°F!

I think gloves with covers are bought for warm hands even in cold weather. But these gloves are so thin that my hands are freezing at a low temperature. If you are looking for warm gloves, I recommend you to buy other gloves.

Too Big

I have a previous version of these gloves which I love, so decided to get a second pair. The old ones were split on size (M/L). Based on sizing guidance for the new gloves, I got a L. Large is too big unfortunately.

Solid glove with wind block - but a bit flimsy

The gloves are as advertised. They are warm and block the wind. I will say though, wearing them with the cover (daily wear) is a bit clumsy as the cover can be flimsy and weird to bunch into the pouch.

Best running gloves

The wind blocker layer is extremely warm, without it, the gloves are great for most runs above 30 degrees.

Great gloves.

Exactly what I as looking for. These have become my goto for winter running and hiking. The fleece glove is a pretty standard mid weight fleece glove. The shell does a great job at blocking wind and makes these effective insulation down into the high teens/low 20s. Unlike other shell mitts these have an open palm which greatly increase ventilation preventing sweating and overheating during high output activities. It’s a simple design that offers a huge improvement over other items in the same the market. It’s like having pit zips on your gloves, mechanical venting will always be superior to relying on the breath ability of mostly non breathable fabrics. My only complaint is that the fleece glove should have a grippy materiel on the palm, the gloves are pretty slippery when trying to hold a phone, ski poles, or things you might not want to drop in the snow.
