best shorts I've ever tried by far

Racing shorts need to be light: you life the leg every footstrike, and extra grams mean energy wasted. But for efficient fueling, you also want some storage capacity, expecially in 2025 when we realize the importance of fueling on even moderate distance events.

My previous favorite shorts were some decade-old Nikes, which were light and comfortable, but things would frequently fall from the flimsy pockets, and occasionally, I'd catch my thumbs in them if my arm swing became too tight. I had pretty much resigned myself to a life with mediocre pockets...

Then I tried the Janjis. The shorts are light and comfortable, but the pockets are well made, with impressive capacity, but more importantly, with easy to access zippers which keep storage secure. These are game-changing.

I love these shorts!

First time trying these shorts and I absolutely love them! They are really comfortable, especially on long runs, and have waist band pockets to store extras. Super breathable too! They are a little smaller than the AFO’s of the same size but find that I like them just as well
