I was going to run a hot 100 miler race and needed a good breathable cap for it. I'm so glad I bought this! The cap saved my life. I stuffed it with ice during the hot times of the day. Kept me nice and cozy!

Very light, comfortable and quick drying

My favorite hat until now has been Janji's AFO Hyperlight Cap. It's extremely lightweight, comfortable, breathable, packable, quick-drying, and an attractive looking cap. The Hatchback Mesh Cap, though, is just as comfortable, but is slightly lighter, more breathable, and it's a little more packable than the Hyperlight Cap - and it's the same price. Janji seems to have figured out the secret to making great caps.

I only have one slight complaint. I love the bungee cord closer in the back because it's stretchy, so you can tighten it while still having it be comfortable. But if you have a smaller head, the cord kind of sticks out from the back of your hat, and it kind of looks silly. So I tuck it into the cap, and that for the most part works, but of course it comes untucked when I adjust my cap. No big deal at all, but there you are.

Good hat for summer days, running, walking, it does it all.

I decided to try out this hat and absolutely love it. It’s light, airy, comfortable, and looks great.

I’ve got the AFO hyperlight hat and thought it was my favorite. This one has passed it up for the hotter weather when I want the same fit and feel but need the extra ventilation. Love the back bungee strap. Easy to adjust one handed on the fly.
