M's Trekker Cargo Pant

I bought these pants for my husband. He wears them everywhere. They have a relaxed fit, so he wears them comfortably at home, but also hiking and walking. It is a thinner material and you need to layer if you plan on wearing these in colder temps. His only complaint is that if you tighten the belt, the extra fabric of the belt falls forward.

These are fantastic. An insane amount of storage yet the pants remain relatively sleek. They don't look or feel like cargo pants at all. Super comfy and I like the bungee hem at the bottom, really nice touch. I can fit an A5 notebook in the biggest pocket. That's crazy. Couldn't be happier.

I’m a true M. 31 to 32 waist. The waist button snap it a joke. It’s like a cowboy shirt snap but worse. Like the kind of snap you’d see on a dolls clothes. It made think I need a large so it doesn’t un snap but that’s not logical either. The nylon waist strap is cool and it is long. That’s kind of the look I guess. If it wasn’t for that nylon strap, the snap would definitively come undone all the time. It’s just hard for me to understand why you didn’t put a really good button snap for the most important part of the Pant. The color is fantastic. The materials fantastic the pockets are cool. The design is great outside of the issue I expressed. I’m still trying to understand the bottom leg adjustment nylon ties. I thought there was something on the inside that when you roll a leg it would clip on to. But I guess you just pull it tighter to hold it up higher. I really don’t wanna return these and I don’t wanna get a large. I’m just still trying to wrap my head around why R&D team did not put a secure robust waste snap. What were they thinking?

As the review title suggests, I really like the fabric and the fit was great. I think it was an interesting attempt with the pockets, but the large rear pockets aren't as useful to me as a stable, no-bounce (or limited-bounce) phone pocket. I also don't love the belt. It's a little tacky in opinion when a little more elastic in the belt would look better and work equally as well.

I hate that most running pants come in a shape of joggers, they are usually too tight around calves and restrict movement. These pants are great, good wind protection but at the same time do not run too hot. Just tested during hoka bandera 100k race. Perfect protection against sotol cacti. My only complaint is that the belt retention is not the best, it starts to slip after period of time. I wish the clip has teeth or something else to hold the belt in place. Would recommend!
