Disappointed

I love the AFO Hyperlite cap so the stoke was very high for the visor. Unfortunately I was disappointed. First off, the mesh fabric on the inside is way more scratchy than the beautifully soft material on the AFO caps. Also the brim is bizarrely narrow. Doesn’t offer complete sun coverage at all. I wanted to love it because I love this brand. But I’ll be returning, sadly. Please consider making some adjustments to this visor because I would love to have an actual visor version of the AFO!

The most comfortable visor

I love this visor so much I bought it in a second color. My one wish is that the forehead part of the band were less tall, since it looks a little weird on me. But the pros outweigh this one issue, including being able to adjust it so easily on the run.

Headband more than a visor.

While comfortable and lightweight, it is hardly a visor, as it provides minimal sun protection for the eyes and face. I would call it a headband, and as such it is good.

visor

Quick observations: the concept is great, but it’s the little things,
a. squeeze adjuster is hard work while running
b. sweatband material is slightly abrasive (rough) to skin on top of face/head
c. the crown (i.e. front) comes up to high (tall)
These are small issues, but somewill be bothered by them & others so much

So light but does not move

Lovely hat for all activities and travel. Even wore it boating in Hawaii and it didn’t move. So easy to pack

Running Kit Essential

I find that I run more relaxed when wearing a visor. The janji AFO Hyperlight was made for runners that value gear that just works.

It's lightweight and crushable.

It's lightweight and crushable, and I like the tensioning system in back.

However, there are two major design flaws in my opinion. First, the underside of a white visor should be black to reduce eye strain in bright conditions.

Second, the brim of the visor is kind of small, and I would definitely prefer it to be wider, and wrap around or cover the sides of my eyes better. I'm afraid it might not be that effective early or late in the day when the sun is closer to the horizon / hitting my eyes at a lower angle.

Great lil visor

Finally found the running visor I’ve been looking for. Love the feel and fit. Ultralight but firm sturdy. My only 2 suggestions for improvement would be a larger brim (the entire point of a visor is adequate shade) and earth tone colors. White is in constant need of washing.

black mesh dye spread to the white fabric

I really like the bra that I bought from this company, but the visor was not created with mesh that was dyed properly. My sweat made the black dye spread onto the white. I tried washing it but the stain is permanent.

Keeps sweat out of my eyes

Never thought I'd be a visor person but this is what I reach for before my runs. It keeps sweat out of my eyes but lets me wear my bun high. And it's so light, really feels like I'm barely wearing anything on my head. Easy to wash and dries fast!

I don't like the square brim

But Iight enough that I forget I'm wearing it until I stop by a shop window. It's functional, but not cute. I would have preferred a curved brim and a tailored womans fit, the unisex brim size looks too large on me.

I ditched my hat

This visor rocks! I bought another one pretty quickly after realizing how much I love it. The adjustable strap is a perfect fit and it doesn’t blow off in the wind. A must have.

Keeps the blood out of your eyes!

I love my new visor and I thought I would share my epic experience at First State 50k while wearing my brand new Janji visor that resulted in two staples to the head. So what happened? Well, around mile three I was looking down as I was running a technical part of the trail and ran full speed into a tree branch. I busted my head, fell back and lost my sunglasses. But anyone who knows me well knows that I don’t quit unless it’s life or death. I continued on for the next 28 miles and ended up taking third female with a personal record of 20 minutes from when I ran this race in 2022. @tcustode

It’s lightweight, keeps the sun out of my eyes, and sweat getting in my eyes. I used it for a long run and forgot I was wearing it.

Love the Colors and Pattern

I love the distinctive colors and pattern as well as the easy size adjustments! It's very comfortable!
i really appreciate that it's machine washable, but the brim is just a tag too flimsy for me, too soft and too flat (i like it a tad more curved).
I consider myself a moderate sweater, and i found myself easily sweating through the integrated band on 50-minute runs in the mid-70s. So the sweat absorption isn't my fave. But, to be fair, i have to wear a seperate sweat band with all my other visors too (so maybe i'm not a moderate sweater?). Given these factors and the pricing, i'd say the overall value is a tad lower as well...

Solid Hat

Crushable brim makes it a bit flat but the bungee adjustment is a GAME CHANGER in the wind
