Hatchback Mesh Cap

The visor is not wide and it’s not too long:(a lot of five panel hats are like that:) this one fits me perfectly. It gives it a more professional and uniforms look, I kept the piece of cardboard or foam like material in the forehead section. I just trimmed it down to fit according to the stitch pattern. It gives this headgear, a structured continuity look, plus, I could put my retirement pins on it. Although the price is kind of steep. The color is excellent’ it looks to be like a greenish gray mat.(CAN YOU MAKE THIS SAME HAT IN A WINTER VERSION OR A MORE SOLID STRUCTURE?) without changing any of the dimensions whatsoever.?

This hat is extremely light and breathable! Fits great with the bungee adjuster. Only thing I would change would be to make the bill a little wider. Seems a little narrower than most hats.

I love my AFO ultralight, but this mesh cap has become my go to when the temperature heats up. I generally just rinse it in the shower and it’s good to go the next day.

The mesh top breaths nicely, but the hat fits a bit small. There really isn’t much “structure” to the cap, it sort of hugs the head. Good for you are going for lite-weight / stuffable.

I needed a hat to protect my scalp from black flies (East Coast trail runners will know what I’m talking about), but I wanted something that would not make me overheat. These are ultralight, easy to adjust, and flattering. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish there was a wider variety of colors to choose from.

Getting the main negative out of the way: “one size fits most” in this case does not fit bigger noggins well. I normally wear a 7.5 inch hat and this one barely fits my head and sits fairly high. Good news is that it seems well built and the ventilation is the best I’ve ever had. If it fit better, it would easily be the best summer hat I’ve owned.

Excellent warm weather hat.

I usually wear a visor because hats tend to make me overheat, but the lightweight material and mesh work really well and this hat is quite comfortable. The hat fits well and I like how adjustable it is too! My only complaint is that the hat can't accommodate a higher pony tail, so I have to wear my hair a lot lower, which is less comfortable.

I really like it because it’s lightweight and comfortable. The adjustable cord is easy to tighten or loosen, which is especially helpful when hiking in windy conditions. Definitely worth it.

Definitely not one size fits all

There is no better hot weather running hat out there. Cool light catches a breeze and dries in minutes.

Look. I may not be an ultra Runner yet but wearing Janji makes me feel and look like I’m a running stud!! Seriously their hats, their Sun Runners and other shirts are flat out amazing to run in. I’ll definitely be buying more!

I've been looking for a versatile cap that will work with my puffy 4c hair. This hat has a fantastic stretch and fits snug without feeling overly tight. It has great airflow, preventing overheating. 10/10 recommend.

Easy to wash, protects from sun and stays on your dome for all kinds of running.

Tried it out and maybe is just my poufy hair but I could not get it to really "seat" on my head, as evidenced by me losing it during a race when it fell off and I didn't want to stop and grab it. Not really a huge hat guy anyway so take this with a grain of salt.

The hat I was looking for. Super lightweight with a brim that's not to long (i'm looking down most of the time while hiking ya know). Fits great with sunglasses. Love it. For any small heads out there that hat when hats hit their ears, this is your solution.

I’d bought a similar hat some months ago from REI and lost it. I’d loved it so much -excellent sturdy material, lightweight, great fit, & fun colors-I decided to purchase it again from Janji. The replacement had some issues which I’m certain were an anomaly as the first cap I bought didn’t have those issues.

The co-founder reached out and asked about my experience with the cap and customer service were able to provide me with another replacement free of charge. I love my new hat so much that I have been recommending it to my running and hiking groups. The cap is of very high quality and can be worn comfortably for a lot of outdoor activities- it’s very light weight yet sturdy and fits spot on. The customer service was absolutely outstanding to say the least. I have now checked out the AFO Hyperlight Cap here at our local sports basement and REI and plan to buy one when they have restocks of some colors that I have liked.

So pleasantly surprised! It actually fit my head- not too loose or tight. And I could pack it into my pocket on a run easily, it weighs essentially nothing. 10/10.

Great hat. I love the drawstring fastener in the back and the mesh material on the top. It is a little tight on the head which makes it good for running so it won't fall off, but it makes my head look kinda small haha.

I love this hat , it is like having nothing on my head .The brim is short so it doesn’t my line of sire on trails or get in the way of my sunglasses.

I’d bought a similar hat about 6 months ago from REI and lost it. I’d loved it so much I decided to purchase it again this time from Janji as a replacement especially since I was traveling to a warmer country and needed it for hiking. Unfortunately, just on the second day of wearing it the mesh on top started to unravel, rendering the hat useless. I’m hoping the hat I got may just have been an anomaly, I remember not having any issues when I had bought a similar hat the first time. I’d have loved to buy it again but feel a bit hesitant/unconvinced for fear of running into similar issues.

I have a gigantic head (~25") and this hat barely fits. I wear it anyway because it's so breathable but would love if there were another 4-6 cm of play in the retention string.

Only worn once, but so far so good! Great colors and the mesh is so breathable without feeling like itll fall apart
