After months of training + prepping to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, I’ve accumulated a LOT of gear ... and I finally found one bag that can handle the training, travel and everything in between. It’s so good, I'm bringing it all the way to Africa with me.

I somehow fit a few days of clothes for two people: two pairs of shoes, laptop + chargers, book, notebook, snacks, water bottle, travel docs AND an entire second daypack inside this thing - with room to spare. 🤯 But the best part might be the absurd number of compartments. Everything has a place instead of disappearing into one giant 42L black hole.

This pack is technical enough to haul gear from home to the trailhead, but sleek enough that I happily carry it to work + around the city. Airport, road trip, trail, coffee shop, Africa - this thing is down for pretty much whatever you're getting into. Pretty sure Janji just solved my four-bag problem. This thing is about to see a LOT of miles. ✈️

Overall, an impressive bag that reveals more capacity and function the deeper you get into it. They've thought of everything.

The front pocket is large and expands to fit tons of gear, even a cycling helmet. The straps tuck flat against the back panel so the bag slides through airport security without snagging, and the integrated rain fly keeps everything dry (no one wants wet gear). The clamshell setup keeps your smelly race gear separated from your clean clothes. There's even a padded laptop compartment, though race weekend is probably the one trip where it's smart to leave the laptop at home.

This bag has been the perfect travel bag- it is roomy enough, with enough organization, to keep a week’s worth of clothes, toiletries, and laptops/ipads organized- to also being compact enough for a few nights in the van, when space is at a premium.
It is a really well-made high quality bag, easily adjustable, and fits perfectly on top of a roller bag when you aren’t carrying it on your back.

I used this bag for a three-day, 200-mile running relay, where I was essentially living out of the back of a truck. It kept things really simple and organized even when the exchanges got hectic and everything got covered in dust. If I somehow stayed organized, then this really is the perfect travel bag!

The shoe pouch was such a game changer rather than being part of the other seven people always looking for their shoes for their segments, I could always have mine in the same spot

They thought of everything. Clamshell design allows for multiple compartments on the right and left. Zipper pockets for easy and sensible organization for a quick overnight trip in the camper van to a multi-week trip overseas.

I particularly like the stinky shoe pouch on the outside of the bag to keep those stinky shoes away from my clean-ish clothes on the inside.

The shoulder straps are super comfortable and adjustable and when you don't need them, they can be hidden away to make the bag a more standard travel bag.
