W's Sunchaser 50 Hooded Long Sleeve

I used this sun hoodie to thru-hike the entire Continental Divide Trail this year; for 2,700 miles/4 months I wore this shirt every day, all day and it was amazing. Fit, material, quality, and color choices have been great. The material is soft but quickly dries, it's also warm but still light and airy. I am continuously impressed by Janji's quality and fit--especially as a woman who frequents sports in the outdoors, I can never find clothing that I like. This sun hoodie has a nice straight fit and an incredible hood that goes well over hats in the sun but also is loose but also blocks the sun from the side still. This hoodie thankfully has no stupid drawstrings or pear shaped weirdness with zippers. It works well as an amazing piece of gear for people who run and hike and exercise outside, plus also looks great. The UPF lasted the entire summer walking across all of New Mexico, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. Even being above 10,000 feet daily in Colorado it protected me from the sun. All in all, thank you for this incredible sun hoodie!

I usually wear small but there was only xs left and it fits great! Im 5'8, 135lb, 32B and it's not too tight. Might be tighter for people with bigger bust. Overall glad to have gotten the xs size. Its very light, soft and comfortable

This was the only shirt I wore when hiking/walking from Switzerland to Rome- both crossing multiple mountain passes and under the hot July/August Italian sun. I am a redhead with very fair skin, and had no burns for the whole trip, though I learned that I did need to put sunscreen on the front of my neck once I was in direct sun for that many hours. Aside from a few natural snags from branches and fences, I cannot see any other wear after 700+ miles.

I ran a 32 hours 100 miles endurance race in Rhode island on July 26 2025.It was a desert trail. With that type of humidity day time and cool night, all I had was this long sleeve shirt. It did its job excellent!! During day time, the hood pretty much covered up the hat (also Janji), kept all those annoying flying things away.

Loved this shirt! Super light and breathable. I wore this for a 6 mile trail run and it was very comfortable. Didn’t ride up or feel constricting. I also didn’t feel hot! I sized up and the shirt is loose on me so I would say it’s definitely true to size

This is my favorite sun hoodie! I was surprised by how airy it feels while I’m wearing it, and I haven’t felt like I’m overheating on runs. I live in Colorado and run in some very exposed areas, so the sun protection is necessary. It’s a long on me (I’m 5 ft) but I just tuck it into my shorts and I think it looks pretty cute lol.

I love this shirt so much , I can’t get it washed fast enough to wear it again. Fits great! Keeps you cool and I love the different colors ♥️

I had been having a hard time training in the NYC heat and humidity for the NYC marathon in the fall. A friend suggested sunhoodies, and the reddit rabbit hole led me here. I have sandstorm, thistle, and citrus colors and hand wash them after every wear to keep them in rotation throughout the week.

The summers have gotten worse in the last 5 years, and my usual cotton scarf isn't cutting it. I've bought a few sports hijabs but they leave me feeling like a frumpy egg, and I feel so ugly in them.

With the hood on these popped up, I feel so comfortable and have been running my long runs with the most ease in years while still remaining modest.

I got the terraform cascade sunchaser hoodie in large, which is my normal size. It fit well with a bit of room for comfort across the torso and in sleeve length. I love that I can throw it on, even in the summer, and head out with sun protection.
