M's 3" AFO Split Short Ultra

Shorts feel super light and comfy. Move with you not against. Great for any type of run. Only small bit is the waist isn't super tight for carrying many items.

Too long and too much material. Feels baggy when soaked with sweat.

Too bouncy to wear w/ phone. Attractive and light and glad I got on sale but I wouldn't risk wearing these with a phone in the back pocket, it doesn't seem secured and feels way way way too bouncy. Bummer! I am going to have to donate / recycle.

Really good shorts only down side was the drawstring wasn't the best. Still functional though.

Too bouncy if you put the a phone in the back pocket. It's nice and light but I had to hold my phone in my hand the whole run.

I love the feel of these shorts and the included pockets on such light weight shorts. Unfortunately, the sizing seems to be off which affects the back pocket. If I load up the back pocket with my phone, it ends up bouncing wildly unlike in the other Janji shorts I own.

I run pretty hot, and bought these to try out for a race. The fit is fantastic, and the fabric is both very lightweight and also soft. I was the most surprised by the amount of storage, the gel pockets on the side are great, and the back zipper pocket and the front inner key pocket are more than enough for any long run or race for me.

These are nice split shorts, but they definitely are not ultra. Storage is not great, and the large storage pockets are awkward. Not worth the money if you are looking for splitties with a lot of storage. Better off with their regular splitties and a belt

I love the material used in the short and the sizing is perfect with these being great for really hot summer days. My only complaint is that compared to the previous 3 inch AFO short I bought which had an internal pocket, the external zipper pocket is more prone to causing bouncing if you put something heavier like a phone in there which can be a little uncomfortable until it fully settles in or you just get used to it.

3" sounded a little too short, but I decided to give it a try to just end up falling in love with it. It will keep you swift and dry, and if you feel that 3" is little too short for some occasion like at the gym or being with other people, then just wear a sports-mesh boxer brief to add the 2-in-1 feel to it. The back pocket is awesome for the phone and side pockets are big enough for my card wallet and a car key on one side and then some running gels on the other side. I bought the tiderider color and I'm buying the midnight color again.

The 3 inch ultra short is another great split short from Janji. Barely there feel, full freedom of movement, but still with good support. The two prints this year are good looking, I just wish there were more options as I’m sizing down from a large to a medium. Big thanks to Janji. We’re still making the 3 inch split.

I wear a size large in the 5" short. The waistband and liner on these are significantly larger than on the same size in this 3" pair of shorts. There's not enough material sewn into the front of the short so I look like I'm running in g-string turned backwards in these...which is neither comfortable nor flattering. I cannot return them since I've worn them once, so now I have a $90 pair of lounge shorts. I'm only giving it 2 starts bc the material quality is nice. Don't buy these, buy the 5" length...
