Just insanely comfy

These shorts are so comfy. I haven’t used them for any running yet, but hiking, adventure, climbing, some water activities… SOLID shorts. They are airy and fit true to size. The leg hole isn’t too tight, but definitely not baggy

Love the Pockets!

These are super comfortable like the normal AFO shorts but with the added pockets, carrying food, keys, and cell phone becomes so simple. No extra belt or pack needed! I love the fact that I can carry so much more with these and that the pockets along the waist don't bounce. New favorite pair of shorts!

I love these shorts. They fit well, are comfy, and I love the blue/green color. Please make these in more colors!

I'm 5'2 and the small fit perfect, I was a bit worried about the sizing but it's great!!

the AFO gets even better

I already own 3 pairs of the AFO running shorts (and have worn those for multiple ultras), so when I saw the AFO had gotten an upgrade specifically for ultras I had to try them. these shorts do not disappoint! the new fabric is still soft but feels a bit sturdier than previous AFOs, and the pockets are definitely an upgrade! I love to run and listen to podcasts, and my phone feels much more secure in this back pocket than my previous AFOs. if you've tried the AFOs before, this is definitely a solid upgrade on janji's classic short

(also the janji back phone pocket is genius, for other running brands I have to carry a belt or fanny pack for my phone because they only have pockets on the side, which make running with a phone really difficult)

Great Shorts

Phenomenal pair of running shorts! The fit is spot on and comfortable, even for a stockier build like me. Hockey/Soccer/Track buns that make pants/shorts buying a hassle was a breeze with these. The number of pockets is great, with none being overly large or too small. Zip pockets for important items and a back pocket for small things. However, the best part of these pockets are the elastic pouches on the side. Being a T1D, running with an insulin pump can be an annoyance. These elastic pouches solve that by making it feel like my pump is secure and not hitting or banging against my leg or hip while I run.
I definitely want to try these shorts out on a hike, as I prefer mobility when on the trails. Most hiking shorts tend to be too long, so maybe these can become my go to. Hoping for more colors ASAP!!

Great pair of shorts

These short are comfortable enough to wear all day. Personally love all the different pockets. Currently using the two zipper pockets for getting to and from the car with my wallet, cellphone getting to the car. While the back pocket is perfect for running with keys, they didn't move around during my runs.
