I love the shorts. The pockets are great and it wears great. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a shirt loop in the back as well.
My design rec would be to make the logo an elastic shirt loop. That would complete these shorts.

Pockets allow for every day wear and climbing and hiking as opposed to just running shorts. I do miss the breathable waistband on the normal afos though

Ultra Good Ultra shorts

The AFO Middle Short Ultra is a fantastic running short. Comfortable, quick drying, and utilitarian for ultra distance training and racing. They work great for me and I'd love to see them in a 7" length as well.
