Fabric Callout

Transit Tech

A lightweight, stretch woven with a durable water repellency — Transit Tech breathes, dries quickly, and resists wind and rain for truly versatile, cross-functional gear.

Our new Transit Tech fabric is made from recycled polyester to help reduce its impact. It has a C6 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. C6 DWR is made from short-chain PFC's (perfluorinated chemicals) that, while better than long-chain PFC's, we recognize are not environmentally ideal. We are actively testing and looking for an alternative to C6 DWR finishing that will not compromise on the performance of our Transit Tech fabric.

Our Transit Tech fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

Breathable & Weightless

I do a lot a sprint workouts and need the clothes I wear to light and out of the way. These pants move so well with my body and are virtually non-existent during the workout. It’s comfortable around the waist and legs and fits exactly like I need it to on my body.

Perfect travel/adventure pants

I love clothing that has multiple functions. These pants hit that spot exactly. They are lightweight, stretchy, yet still form fitting and are great for hiking/running, but also look nice so you could def wear them out for a night on the town. Highly recommend. The obsidian color is great!

Great pants for kickin' it, AND running

Since I've had these pants, they are definitely my go-to. I usually wear tights when I run in cold weather, but I've been experimenting with these pants on colder mornings and they work great! Not too hot, and if it's windy, they are real nice. But where these pants really shine is just wearing them around (the house, errands, bike commuting to school & work, camping). They are the perfect balance between fashion, comfort, and tech. This is my second pair.

Favorite pants

Second pair of transit tech pants, first pair of the new fit. I have large calves so they’re always a bit snug in that area. These are a bit harder to get on with the way the new elastic is at the bottom. I like that they have zippered pockets now. Miss the elastic strap in the back to hang something by. Still my favorite pair of pants to run, hike, lounge in.

Completed the PCT with these

These joggers held up for my entire Pacific Crest Trail thru hike. A 5 month continuous foot path from Mexico to Canada. Through the heat of the Mojave desert, the cold and snow of the high Sierra Nevada mountains, the mosquitos of NorCal, through Oregon and finally the ruggedness and wet of the Washington Cascades. After 2,650 miles with only minor small holes from Bushwacking and climbing over a million downed trees. They held up amazing and never really smelled considering they went 8 days without a wash on occasion. I would highly recommend these pants. They kept me cool in the desert, warm in the cold, excellent wind protection and loose enough to stop those damn mosquitos. Janji send me another pair!

Best Running Pants I Own

These pants fit well and are fairly breathable. I’ve worn in rain, cold and warm weather. These are all around comfortable. They dry fast when wet, can keep you warm early in the morning, but also don’t make you feel like a melting M&M when it’s warmer outside. I’ve used these on shorter 30 minute runs and also on longer 100 minute runs. I also just like to lounge around in them because of the comfy feel. I own both pair of these black and the blueish color way. If you get grease on your pants like I did when working on the bike, pretreat the stain and try to hand wash before tossing in the laundry. Other than that follow the label. I honestly don’t feel I need to go out and buy any more running pants cause these have me covered. Would be cool if there was maybe a couple other color ways, I would totally buy. I think the price point is okay even though I have found similar pants with less features at a more competitive rate. Would I buy again, probably. But of course look for a deal on pricing before jumping in.

Can you do this style for the ladies?

These sound really awesome, but could you please (to infinity) do them in a women's cut? I do like yoga pants, but would love to have a looser set of workout pants (just for those don't want compression days).
