Our new Atlas fabric has a PFC-free C0 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. The PFC-free C0 DWR is made without short-chain PFCs, or perfluorinated chemistry also known as PFAS, which are part of a family of forever chemicals that have been used to create DWR finishes for decades, but can wash off of garments and remain in our watersheds for hundreds of years. Janji has transitioned completely to using PFC-free C0 water repellency as part of our sustainable initiatives while still prioritizing long-lasting protection without releasing harmful substances into the environment — we are proud to be 100% PFAS free across our apparel and accessories production as of January 2023.
Our Atlas fabric is bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.
Great pants for layering. Convenient zipper pockets. Legs zippers are super helpful for getting on/off. Got the same size as the janji leggings I ordered awhile back and fit perfectly. The double waistband is a little wonky, at least for me. I guess I stretched them too wide getting them over my hips and part of the seam did come undone. Hasn’t spread or anything and now I’m just mindful of how I pull them up. Still 5 stars but something to be aware of
These are a MUCH better fit than the Transit pants. I love the zippers on the bottom cuff, zippered pockets keep things from falling out, and ability to throw a layer through the loop in the waist band is excellent.
I found the Atlas pants easy to throw on/off over tights if I need more warmth, and they do a good job of blocking wind. These are roomy and comfortable without the parachute look around my waist that the Transit pants had on my frame.

Perfect for a single layer or an exta layer (for those extra cold days) for winter running. These pants are sooooo comfortable. I love them so much.
One of the most expensive clothing items I own because I am extremely thrifty but, my mother who is an Ultra Runner convinced me to purchase from Janji. I got these pants along with several other items and they have been wonderful. I love the pockets, zip up legs, easy adjusting waist band, wind resistant adds extra warmth over my thermal Janji pants on cold morning runs. Light weight and easy packing for a backpack come spring. I took a down hill tumble recently and they didn't get any tears. (Durable) worth the high cost. But I will be watching for sales.
Super light, comfy, and sweat wicking
These are fantastic! Despite high gusty winds and temps in the 40s, these are keeping me warm and dry over fleece leggings. Super lightweight, easily packable, blocked the wind and kept me dry. Absolutely recommend!
These are my new favorite pants! Cannot recommend them enough!
I delayed buying these pants for a long time because well, they’re not cheap! But, oh! I’m so glad I pulled the trigger—they are amazing! I have not used them for layering yet but I have used them when it’s a bit too chilly for shorts and they are amazing! I love the large back pockets—fits my phone and other necessities perfectly and comfortably. And the fabric is silky soft but not swishy, breathes great and is just warm enough for weather above 30 degrees. I own a couple pairs of the transit techs and, while they are nice, I honestly like the atlas better. Plus, I wore them for 4 runs before washing—and probably could have gone more but…it just seemed wrong!
Finally pulled the trigger after waffling for months on whether I needed these. Where have these been all my life?? The pockets alone are incredible - you can fit SO much stuff in there, and they are so cleverly designed. The material is great, super lightweight and great feel against the skin. Love these pants!
