Summer Trail Vibes (from a runner with an ileostomy)

Recently purchased these for some SoCal trail runs and have been loving the miles in them so far. They fit great, and lots of pocket options!! I had to cut the liner out and I use the separate janji cargo liner underneath— nothing wrong with built in brief liner, I just have an ileostomy bag, and the way I have my bag situated, integrated liners don’t work for me (mentioning that in case any other ostomates are reading this).

My favorite go to running shorts!

Bought my first pair of janji shorts a few months ago and immediately fell in love. when they came out with the ultra 5” I couldn’t wait to try them and after wearing them on all my long runs I will say they are my absolute favorite shorts.

Best short I’ve owned

Very high quality shorts, a bit tight as far as sizing goes but not uncomfortable. Able to withstand all exercise I’ve put them through, this is my 3 since 2017 holds well throughout multiple seasons can’t recommend this enough. Only issue I’ve found is last pair of had the back pockets rip around the zipper seam but I blame user error for stuffing them tight.

Great shorts for training and racing

I wore these in the Boston Marathon. I was able to carry all my gels and even shove a bottle in the side pocket. With the extra carbs on board, I placed 5th in my age group out of 700 men age 65-69. On training runs I bring my gels and phone so I can listen to podcasts. I will definitely wear these in my trail ultra races. They are so light weight and comfortable. They are my favorite running shorts ever, and I have been running since eight grade in 1973. I am 6-0, 173, and wear a Large.
