Flowy Comfort

I love these shorts for trail running! They are really comfortable even though they ride up when running. The waist band isn't tight so there is less pressure on my abdomen, compared to tights.

I like the zipper pockets for securing small things like chapstick or an earbud. However, the pockets aren't usable for me when running due to bouncing. Besides things bouncing around in the pockets, these shorts are now my favorite for running in warm weather. I haven't experienced any chafing on 8 mi runs, I wear nylon underwear and I feel well ventilated with these loose shorts.

Great New Roomy Fit!

The Transit Tech shorts have indeed been refit for the Spring 2023 season to be MUCH roomier through the hips & thigh openings, and it is excellent news if you are curvier in those areas. I am 5'7", 130 lb, 27 in waist, 37 in hips - curvy through the butt/hips & some muscle on the thighs. I'm usually an XS or S depending on the fit of the particular brand. I tried the previous season's Transit Tech shorts in a Small and was disappointed to find that they were awkwardly tight through my hips & thighs - I returned them. I was so excited to see that they had a new fit for 2023 and they delivered! I bought these in a Small and they still fit great in the waist with A LOT more room in the hips and thighs. They now have a much more flowy, loose fit and fit me exactly as shown on the model Justine. The Blue Collage print is gorgeous. I am so excited to use these as a hiking & backpacking short. I am always in search of the goldilocks hiking short - no liner, lightweight & stretchy material, comfy waist band, and deep pockets & these fit the bill!

I LOVE the new fit of these shorts. Shorts tend to be a tricky fit for me - they're usually tight at the thigh opening even if I size up. These were refit for Spring 2023 and have a much more comfortable fit - I did a few squats in these comfortably, and they hit well at the waist (right at the smallest point) with a super comfortable rise. Super flattering and I love the Galaxy color. Great fit for the bigger-quad-having set.

Fit is overall TTS and good. Really appreciate the slightly longer length. Like fabric. Glad for the large phone pocket AND would still love a couple more mid to smaller ones.

Love how breathable it is as well as a women's short actually having good pockets! Wish it had a built in liner though in the short.

Not quite honed in

The previous iteration of these shorts was a bit on the slim side in the size of the legs/ openings, but I think the updated fit is too poofy/ loose in that area. The waistband is great and true to size, but the legs feel like a size larger than I ordered. They are still comfortable, and I love the three zipper pockets, but I would love for the leg opening size to be between the current and previous versions. I have thicker/ muscular thighs too, so it is not for lack of something to fill the legs.
