M's 8" Trail Half Tight

I really love the Trail Tights and wore them all winter. With the warmer weather, I wanted to try the half tights and I was not let down. I have fairly robust hips and thighs (5'8" 170lbs) so I have difficulty finding shorts that fit and look good. These are perfect for me, especially during Weightlifting training. Getting into a deep squat for Cleans and Snatches is so natural and fluid. The compression feels relieving on my legs in between sets too and also great for post-lift stretching. The only downside is limited color choice but thankfully I love the Midnight variety. I own two and will be buying more - thank you Janji.

The only tights worth purchasing. Im afraid to try anything else. Price value is perfect.

Full disclosure: not a man, but for runs where I need a lot of storage space, I love these more than ANY other Janji shorts I’ve tried (and that’s a very high bar!). I thought the pocketing of the women’s Trail Half Tight was ingenious but turns out these are even better -- so glad I tried them. I especially love that the outer pockets are not made of mesh here, which feels a bit more sturdy and less bouncy, and LOVE the addition of the tiny inner pockets for IDs and such.
I switched to these for my second marathon on pretty short notice after training with the women’s, which seems like ~risky behavior~ but turned out great for carrying a whole bunch of gels, a phone, tissues and other little bits and bobs which was all very comfortable.
Regarding fit, these do feel a little tighter than the women’s bottoms I wear (currently M and sometimes L), but I don’t have experience with other Janji men’s bottoms to be able to tell whether these specifically run small or it’s just the way my body type adapts to a men’s cut.

Outstanding piece of gear. Smooth ride mile after mile and no chaffing, no riding up and a pocket for everything you need!! They feel durable also!

These half tights are awesome! They stay in place ( really important!), have plenty of storage, and hold a great temperature (at least during springtime in the Rockies). They feel like a second skin. Can’t wait to keep wearing them out on the trail!

I am a 30 year old woman, 5'9", 130lbs and these fit me perfectly and, for me, are more comfortable than the women's version. There is no poofy fabric spot in the crotch area for the male bits when I wear them which was an initial concern of mine. If you have a female body but don't like super tight fitting/compressive feelings around your waist, get these instead!

I love these tights. I have four pairs. They're great for a 5K or a 50k. The pockets are secure, loop in the back for a shirt or a cooling towel, patterns are pretty too.

I love them. They're super comfy, the pockets are really nice, and they make me feel super fast. I'll definitely be buying future limited-run patterns!
