W's 7" Pace Short

I was excited to try these shorts but when I received them, I noticed the leg openings had grip tape instead of grippy dots (as pictured in the product photos). The tape was much tighter than the leg opening so they made my legs bulge which is unappealing and uncomfortable. I am returning them as a result which is disappointing since the cut/pockets seem so nice!

I've been running in full leggings/tights only because the "airy" running shorts don't protect my thighs from chafing and most short tights roll or constrict... or start comfortable but absorb too much sweat/stretch out over a run... I've been reluctant to branch out from Lulu's numeric sizing but the large fit me great and were comfortable for a full long run, the wide stick-dot cuff kept them in place without being constrictive

Im a tall girl and prefer the 7" over the 5" length which avoids all skin contact in the thighs. The waistband fits perfect and the shorts never move.The fabric is sweat wicking and doesn't retain oder which is a bonus in this hot humid summer weather running. I also wear to HIIT gym classes, spinning and in the weight room. I wash, dry and repeat and they stay in brand new perfect condition. You won't regret buying these.

Love these shorts! I’ve worn them on 3 long runs now (15, 16, 17 miles) and they don’t budge. Legs stay in place! They also sort of feel like you’re wearing nothing at the same time, which is nice in the heat. I’m 5’6, 140lbs with a little more weight in my waist, so they’re a little tight around my middle, but not so much that I look like a sausage. I think these are my marathon shorts for this fall!

Best running shorts ever.

I just crossed the one year anniversary of purchasing my very first Janji product, the 7" Pace Short, and it’s safe to say I never looked back. From my first run in them, I knew I had found my unicorn short.

In 10 years of running ultras, these are the first shorts I’ve owned that truly do not move. No riding up, no sliding down, and no constantly picking at the legs or behind, even when I’m drenched in sweat. Chafing is a recurring issue for me, but never in these shorts.

The side pockets are deep and secure, with exactly the right amount of compression and zero bouncing. The pass through pocket in the back is incredibly handy and most often holds my nutrition.

They’ve become my go-to for running, dog walking, weight training, hiking, and basically anytime I’m going to be sweating and need pockets. I’m currently up to six pairs and just ordered two more. I’m thrilled to have found Janji and proud to support a brand whose products support me through all of my sweatiest endeavors.

After trying these shorts I never want to wear anything else! Great fit that doesn't budge with lots of pockets for whatever I need to carry.

I recently purchased the 7” short in the olive green color. I have heard people say great things about the shorts and wanted to try them. The fit was good (not perfect for me, but workable), the materials seem high quality, and the features are thoughtful.

I was really bummed after I ran in them for the first time because the material shows sweat stains really prominently. I’ve honestly never had this problem with Nike, Patagonia, or Oiselle shorts. It was really unflattering to have all sorts of weird crotch sweat stains showing during my run. I sadly won’t be wearing these much because it’s so noticeable.

Love the pockets and the carabiner hook. Brought them on my last backpacking trip and they were great.

Shorts stay put which is an absolute miracle.

My trainer told me about the pace short - she said that they don't ride up on the leg (I've got thigh rub issues) and are super comfortable. Not sure what kind of magic they used, but they fit perfectly and don't move when you walk/hike/run.

Janji have been my go to training and race shorts as a marathon runner. They do not disappoint. The fit, the durability and storage is unmatched…until they removed some of the pockets! My older pair I’ve beat into the ground and finally saved up for some newbies to find out they are about 3 pockets short. That’s a major feature that had not been mentioned on the site nor was I aware until I received the shorts. Janji has me in a chokehold due to what I mentioned above, however I need you to bring back the front pockets and the back loop and small sode pockets ASAP! I run like a pack mule and need all my support on my body at all times😩 that’s why I couldn’t give these 5 stars.

These shorts fit great, and the grippies on the legs are the best I’ve seen out there for running gear.

Great fit, as always with Janji.... stays put during runs, great pockets, great length!

These fit like a glove and are so comfortable. Finally a pair of running shorts that stay in place and don’t ride up while in motion! I plan to buy more soon.
