M's Thermalrunner Insulated Jacket

I bought the men's jacket even though I'm a woman. I like the fit of men's shirts and jackets. This jacket is a lovely orange color and is just enough warmth for cooler mornings. I had to stop wearing it when summer really arrived, but look forward to wearing it again when fall comes.

I recently came across the Janji line and was impressed by its dedication to the niche market of cold weather running. I purchased the Thermalrunner jacket, as well as the vortex gloves and merino headband. For a light jacket, it performs superbly, keeping me warm in runs in temperatures as low as in the teens, with just one base layer. I tried out the vortex gloves and merino head band in a recent marathon in the 30’s, my 62nd marathon, and was quite comfortable. Thanks Janji for your dedication to runners!

I bought this as a gift for my son. He loves it and it looks great as street wear and for winter running.

By far my favorite cold weather coat. It’s very light and terrifically warm. Each time I’ve worn this I’ve overheated slightly. Coldest being single digits and windy

I live in downtown Chicago and this jacket keeps me very toasty on winter days. I really only pull it out when it’s below 10°F because I run hot and get almost too toasty in this. However, today it was windy and cold (0° w/ windchill) and this jacket was an absolute champ. Wore it on top of a merino base layer and was perfectly warm after the first mile. Would recommend. I’m 6’, 170lbs and I have a medium and it fits very well.

I was surprised by how light the jacket was and was worried it wouldn’t be warm but it thoroughly exceeded expectations. Went on a run that 5F with this on and a thin hoodie underneath. I was nice and toasty.

I'm 5'9" and 200lbs. Bigger runner. If it's warmer than 30F I would not wear this jacket. From 20-30 I wear a normal running shirt under it. 10-20 I use a thin merino shirt under. I have not used it under 10F yet but my plan is just another layer of top. This is ventilated so before you begin to run you don't feel very warm. After you start, wet or dry, this is a heater. I got a Large, it has room for me to layer underneath and still is not skin tight. It hits me below my waist, which is fine. The sleeves are a little long on me but also is fine. It fits well across my shoulders and chest. It's breathable and light, if you're on a windy day or rainy and you don't wish to be, you pair it with a shell/windbreaker or choose another option. It's a great running jacket.

Love this jacket for cold weather runs. Toasty yet breathable. Had the prior version and this one fits a little baggier, but still true to size.

This arrived in perfect time for the cold weather hitting in Chicago in early December. It is really lightweight but actually very warm. I was able to run in this with a single layer underneath and feel comfortably warm on a day when the windchill hit -9F on the lakefront. Good wind resistant capabilities too and fits well. Snug without being tight or feeling constrained while running.

I’m located in Northeastern Pa. This jacket has been perfect for the cool fall runs. Even the cold winter ones with layers. I’ve been very happy with it.
