Exceeded my expectations

I was in need of a lightweight pack for both trail and road running. There was zero bounce and it's super comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great Running Belt

Great option for when you don't want to rock a vest or don't need to carry much water. No bouncing and lots of practical pockets.

It's magical, and I have the proof....

While I am 100% confident this belt would be grand to use on trails, I ended up putting it through a much more arduous test of endurance.... carrying the full load for a long hot day in - The Magical Kingdom of Disney. From rope drop to the long monorail ride home after the fireworks and park closing, would it step up to the challenge and perform to my expectations... could it keep a party of two supplied, and stay conveniently hidden during those all important photo ops with the castle and mouse?

Not only did it meet all expectations, but it surpassed how good I thought it might do. It conveniently held two Apple 16 Pro phones, one charging unit and cord, car keys, credit cards, magic bands, snacks, glasses and yes even the hydration bottle. On top of that an umbrella fit in the back cords along with two tightly rolled up rain ponchos for the afternoon thunderstorms.

It's so nice not having to wear the hydration vest all day, being forced to take it off for photos or rides, plus the extreme heat in the parks does test even the most well designed vests. I'll admit as well, I was approached and asked about the belt by other forlorn, tired spouses looking for more efficient ways to handle their park days.

This belt is absolutely one of the best designs out there, and I recommend it to anyone looking for convenience along with room. Could there be some small improvements (?) of course there could be, but for exploring the parks, and I'm sure the trails as well, this one even puts a spark in Tinkerbells eyes.

Great waist pack!

Pack got delivered today—took it out for an 8-mile run this evening and it was awesome! Super comfortable, plenty of pockets, and stayed securely in place the whole time. This one’s definitely coming with me for the upcoming 100-mile ultra!

Good! love color but needs improvements

Runs large. 6ft 185lb 31in waist. Had long straps flying in the wind by my sides bc of how much I had to tighten. Bouncing was minimal. Needs to be a tad bit of added room for it to perform better, had a hard time keeping flask from coming out in the front with two 500ml flask, one flask is okay. The space for the included flask in the back won’t fit if slap full and frozen solid and just tight even when its not frozen making it a hassle to get in and out the snap is a nice thoug. Might help keep stuff from ejecting the pockets on faster paces like downhill on trail run. In all was comfortable enough and has great potential with minor improvements.

Comfortable and well balanced

I found this belt very comfortable and having pockets on both the front and back helped keep it balanced while running. I stored my soft flask in the front as the pocket shown in the photo is far too narrow for me to be able to fit a full flask. There are a lot of small pockets for gels and the zipper pocket keeps all my valuables secure. Definitely recommend to anyone, I'm looking forward to trying this on some longer excursions with poles to see how the bungee system holds up

Wanted to love it, but....

Wanted to love it, but it's just okay. The good: looks cool, good size in terms of storage, lot's of great pockets, relatively lightweight (but not great), and has pretty good versatility for what you can carry and how you might want to use it.

The bad: bottle doesn't fit well in the designed pocket and creates a massive bulge in your back and creates two uncomfortable pockets on either side of the storage area for the bottle. It's pretty much unusable if you put the bottle in the actual storage compartment it was designed for. It works better if you put the bottle in the large pocket, unfortunately, now your whole storage is taken up by the bottle and there isn't much room for anything else. The bottle from hydrapak is simply too big and will not sit flat on your back. They do make flatter ones that don't have such a large round nozzle cap so perhaps that would work better. This is the major design flaw that prevents it from being overly useful. As another reviewer mentioned, your phone can sit there nicely but the bottle will not.

Other aspects that aren't great: the waist belt is way too long for thinner individuals and you are left with long, dangling straps to deal with. Further, the straps are too thick and heavy. Additionally, they are near impossible to cinch down and get tight due to the double backing and multipoint harness system they have to be pulled through. That does help with bounce (a little, but not much) but it's simply too difficult to microadjust on the fly, which you need to do as your load changes from food and water consumption over time. Also, there is no stretch to the waist belt at all so it's either really tight or really loose. Another low point is that the buckles are exposed and hit you right in your hips - there is no padding like in other packs.

Overall, it's a great concept and many aspects, like the pockets and storage options work well, but it really isn't that useful or comfortable for long runs as designed with the waist belt system and water bottle storage.
