Perfect lightweight jacket

I love this jacket so much. This was my first Janji purchase. I love the fit, bright color scheme, the performance in cool weather. I am not a runner, but it works for walks and hikes in mild SF Bay Area weather. I am 5’3.5” and weigh 200 lbs, 38J and apple shape, and the XXL is a perfect fit. I hope this review is useful for the larger sizes shopping this brand as most of the reviews so far are for smaller sizes. I appreciate the range of sizes available.

Light as a Feather

Love it! The techtonic shift pattern immediately caught my eye and I “watched” this jacket for a long time (did I need another jacket?). I typically don’t like hoods on my jackets but because it is so light, I almost don’t notice it at all. I’m usually a small or medium and decided on a medium. It has enough room to have layers underneath if needed but not oversized. I’m so glad I finally made the purchase.

Beautiful!

I love this jacket. First, it's beautiful. And the fabric is light and doesn't make any weird noises. It's perfect.

Best thing ever! Buy it now!

Literally in LOVE with this windbreaker! I’ve gotten so many compliments on the Sea Sky Cloud color and the Small fits me great (I’m 5’4” and about 145). I’ve loved it for running, biking, hiking, anything. It’s a great lightweight spring piece and I would highly recommend. If you’re on the fence, buy it!!

Best running jacket I own

This is hands down the best running jacket I own. It's incredibly light weight, blocks winds up to 15-20 mph, and is yet still breathable. My only request is that there be some way to roll up and secure the hood when it's not in use.

thanks for the pockets

My usual complaint with lightweight windbreakers is a lack of pockets. This one has three *zipped* pockets. The size seems a little larger than my (also size large) Janji rain jacket, but that suits me. The rain jacket sometimes rides up around my waist, but this shell flares a little more at the bottom so it keeps me covered. I wore this with the All Day long sleeve underneath on a run on a blustery 50 degree afternoon, and I was as comfortable as I could wish the whole time. The pockets carried my chapstick, a pack of tissues, and my keys.

I love this jacket. It’s so thin and lightweight, I barely notice I have it on. It blocks the wind and keeps out precipitation!

Perfect light layer

I’m a petite gal with wider hips (5’1”, 24” waist, 38” hips) and have trouble finding jackets that don’t make me look like a rectangle. This jacket has a great shape that flatters the waist and sits nicely over my bum without feeling tight. It’s breathable and moveable and has almost no weight to it but somehow also feels super warm. The hood is great for extra wind protection and again fits like a glove. I don’t know how janji does it but their gear is truly the best out there!

Perfection is possible!

Very lightweight, very packable. I wore it for the Charleston half marathon when it was mid-30s with a brisk wind. Once I got going, all I needed was one thermal layer and this jacket. I could feel that it was windy, but the wind didn't cut through me and chill me to the bone. It was EXACTLY what I needed. I usually buy a large, but the medium is fitted perfectly so you can have a couple of light layers beneath it. (And, it's a cool color with a flattering cut.) This and the Rainrunner pack jacket are two of the best investments I've made. A great complimentary pair of jackets. (I need to update my Rainrunner review and rave about its perfection now that I've worn it on the trails when it was mid-30s and quite rainy.)
