Great short for those needing thigh protection

This 2 in 1 combo is great for those that want the lightness and flexibility in the AFO short but also need full thigh protection to prevent chafing. The amount of pockets and space in each of them is an added plus. You can fit anything in them

solid shorts

I personally prefer the compression liner to the brief liner, these shorts are great. Fits really well, excellent pockets. Only suggestion is even though its 5in inseam it feels like my entire thigh is covered, the compression liner could be shortened and the shorts could be a litter shorter, just feels a tiny bit longer than 5in inseam. Overall excellent and will buy more when more colors come out.

These are the best running shorts PERIOTTT

I've been buying up running shorts (like I've been buying running tights) from many different brands, cheap and premium. These are just the BEST. The AFO material is fantastic and the liner underneath is not restrictive and holds everything I need it to hold in place. Definitely want to pick some more of these up when my wallet recovers from my running gear acquisition of late.

Woudl be great with one big caveat

These shorts are well laid out with great pocketing, but the rise on the liner is really weird. The 7" Multi Short 2-in-1 fits perfectly, but something about the rise on this style means that it rides low and chafes the nether regions something fierce because it can't be pulled up snug against them to reduce movement. Uncomfortable and like no one with male anatomy test ran in them maybe.
